“Was a little taken back when the bartender told me it was too busy to make a mojito with the 15 total people in the bar. I get it sometimes it can be busy as I also work in the industry, but don’t have a cocktail menu that you offer if it’s so complex for “busy”. Not busy enough for a mule which was pretty good.“

“Have not been back to Potato Lake or TJ resort since late 70s as I lost my brother and great fishing buddy to cancer. However, each time we stayed at this resort we brought home great memories and some large bass. Others seemed to only troll for large muskies and asked where we caught the bass...we would respond "out there in the lake".We stayed in the Comanche cabin and always competed on who got bit most by the Wisconsin state bird...the Skeeter!! Hope to get back some day as looks like changes have been made and times were simple fun.“

“This isn't actually called Mel's anymore, but it's a fun place to listen to music. I listened to the 40 Fingers band, who were excellent. I ate the steak bites, which were quite tasty. My only complaint is that getting a drink at the bar took too long for myself, my mother, and I noticed, even members of the band who wanted a soda. Too much chatting and not enough serving. They'd probably make more money if they were more vigilant about this. I greatly enjoyed their deck and the view of the lake. I've heard they're making some improvements to the facility. I look forward to another visit in the future. **I did not stay overnight here.

“Gilligans is truly a great place. About to leave WI for the year after my grandfather, brother, and I ate here everyday for the whole week! The place is beyond creative and fun and the staff is amazing. Lexi and Jennifer stuck out especially to us as they were the most welcoming and helpful when it came to their services. We also were Jennifer’s first table ever and she was so sweet and willing to get anything answered for us. The overall staff is always so sweet and the food is great as well. Gilligans also has games, a bar, bathrooms, as well as indoor and outdoor dining! You can’t get much better than Gilligans. I can’t wait to come back next year and hopefully see some familiar faces. :)“

“Our service and food was very good. Our friends at a different table had a much different experience, and we noticed other tables struggling to get served too. We were lucky to get Teresa as our server and she was wonderful. Having a server as great as Teresa made our dining experience very enjoyable, and I wish our friends would have had her too.“
