“great bar as usual. but I also really wanted to give a huge thanks to the bartender that worked this last saturday. I wish I knew her name. she was a fantastic bartender already, but then she really stepped up when I had a medical emergency and she was quick to help out my husband and friend with helping them out and contacting the paramedics for me. please pass along to her that I truly appreciate her for the help. it really means alot to myself and my husband.“
“I stopped in here on a weekday evening. It wasn't very busy. The bartenders were attentive. I had some cheese curds, and a Tito's and tonic. It's a big place. The pool tables. Video games. Darts. Decent section of beer but not too deep on the craft beer menu. The bar itself is huge and wraps. Around the entire inside of the establishment. Ample parking. Can get very crowded on the weekend nights. Typical bar and Grill type menu.“
“Stopped here on a road trip because I am a regular at a different bar called club 400 across the straight. Beef stick was great. Beer was cheap. Bartender was the man and they were handing out free beer coupons at 1 pm…my kind of place. Bought a hat. If I’m ever in Altoona again I won’t skip this place.“
“A little informal service. We reunited to celebrate my friends birthday. She called in advance to reserve a table for 12. We arrived and there was no table under her name. They put together some tables for us. When the birthday girl arrived, she was surprised that we were not sitting on the corner spaced she had reserved. They have good cocktails, although the sangria had way too much ice!Overall a good place to go for a selection of wines and cocktails.I will come back to see if the service has improved.“
