“me and my son stopped last night after hunting. The atmosphere was amazing with outstanding service. the food was unbelievable and reasonable. Everyone was very friendly chatted about farming as the owners are farmers. we will be stopping during rifle season.“

“We have stopped here several years in a row for fish fry as we have family in the area. We stopped here long ago when it was The Narrow Gauge. Always good food and pretty good drinks and beer. When they are busy be sure to order two drinks at a time as it may take a while to get your next drink. Very friendly with good food! Nice beer selection as well.“

“Been going here since I was a kid, always had decent service from the high schoolers that usually seem to work there. Only down fall is that the entry way is small and leaves little room for customer waiting lines, can get cramped in a hurry.“

“Our group of six were from Southern WI and Northern MN. We had full orders of Salads, Brat Burgers (with spicy mustard from Chetek, WI), corned beef & cabbage (almost St Patrick's Day). Everyone was completly satisfied with these taste meals and have left overs for later:) We would highly recommend Louie's on the Lake as a destination stop!!!!“
