The hotel and restaurant share a unique style, seamlessly incorporating ironwork elements into the design in a tasteful way — classic and stylish. We arrived early to enjoy a cocktail at the bar, and it did not disappoint. The basil-lemon martini was one of the best flavor combinations I’ve ever had. The selection of spirits rivals that of any upscale establishment. The service was top-notch. From the charming bartender to our perfect waitress, Rachel, everyone we encountered made us feel valued and well taken care of. Our "Geronimo Moment" appetizer was a delightful surprise — we’ll definitely be back for that Shrimp! As for the main course, if there was any doubt about making this steakhouse one of our regulars, it was quickly erased. The meat was perfectly cooked as ordered, well-seasoned, and the additions were excellent choices that truly enhanced the dish. The salad, soup, potatoes, and dessert were all delicious as well. I wouldn't change a thing about this dining experience. For the quality, options, and overall experience, the price was reasonable for the area. My only regret is not visiting sooner. Merrill & Houston's is a must-try for special occasions, business meetings, family dinners, or even just drinks and appetizers.“

“If your looking for a quiet Dinner.....then try Vince's. Service is good,atmosphere is good and food is great. Prices are very reasonable. We've lived in Beloit but never get to the Westside much but......we were looking for a sit down Pizza place so we tried Vinces.........Glad we did. We've had the Pizza,Steak Dinners and Chicken Parm so far.....all have been good.“

“I ordered the baked fish, which was absolutely delicious! It was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Their fries even had good flavor and were cooked well. Their salad bar was pretty average for a salad bar but it was great that they had one. All the food at the salad bar looked fresh and tasted good. We ordered a mile-high grasshopper dessert, which was absolutely AMAZING, and they even brought out little bowls and spoons so all 6 of us could share it. We made reservations so we didn't have any wait time to be seated. The service was fantastic - everyone was super polite and hospitable. Our waitress, Grace, was very attentive and sweet. We got our food very quickly (granted we were there pretty early). The owner even came out and went around and asked how everyone's dinner was which was a nice touch. The price was pretty on point for the type of restaurant and food we ordered. Love that it's locally owned and operated. Super charming and nice place. Fancy enough to dress up but totally cool to not. Atmosphere was great. Overall great experience and will definitely be going back!“

“Their burgers are juicy and delicious. There are so many burger toppings to pick from. Service was outstanding. They checked in multiple times. We enjoyed this place so much we stopped twice, once on the way to Chicago and again on the return home. I did have the t-bone steak. It was a nice cut and cooked to order.“

El problema es que no traen cuenta a la mesa y cuando pagas la cajera solo te dice el total. Mi esposo pagó y dejó propina como siempre. En el carro se fijó del recibo y vimos que había una carga extra de propina llamado "loom". La parte de abajo del recibo explica que la cuenta automáticamente carga con una propina de 15% por grupos de 4 o más, que éramos mi esposo, mis 2 hijas y yo. El problema es que no hay ni anuncio en el restaurante ni dicen al pagar. Además el sistema de tarjeta todavía hace la pregunta de propina!? Así que dejemos doble propina - $9.73 por una cuenta de $29.51. Es una trampa y me pregunto con quién se queda la carga automática ¿el dueño o la mesera? We went on 10/1/22. The food was fine as was the service. The problem is that they don't bring a bill to the table and the server just tells you the total when you pay. My husband paid and left a tip like always, but he looked closely at the receipt in the car and saw an extra charge called "loom." The very bottom of the receipt explains that loom is an automatic 15% tip for groups of 4 or more, which in this visit was my husband, my 2 daughters and I. The problem is that there's no notice in the restaurant nor do they tell you when paying. Additionally, the card system still asks if you want to add a tip?!? We ended up leaving a double tip - $9.73 on a $29.51 bill. It's a scam and I wonder who keeps the automatic "loom" charge - the owner or the waitress?“

“Authentic taco's, freshly made to order. A great lunch spot with plenty of booth's available to sit and eat. We had taco's, and fries and it was really good, we didn't even know this place was here until we saw it on you tube and decided to try, we are glad we did.“

Today in a snow storm, my pick up order was 40 minutes delayed and the delay was at no point communicated to me. There was no place to wait and so after about 15 minutes of standing, my 30 week pregnant self just helped myself to a chair at a table. I could tell the hosts were running, but the lack of communication was very disappointing.“
