“Owner was very hospitable, beer specials good, 1/2 # burger delicious and inexpensive, onion rings were great. Friendly people, even during a Packer game while we watched a Viking game (that the owner was more than willing to commit one of their TV's to. Nice atmosphere. I will be back.“
“Best Friday fish fry in the area, walleye especially the pan fried, bluegill with light cornmeal breading, and deep fried pike, also have perch and poor man's lobster. Broasted chicken dinner on Sundays is also not to be missed. Homemade potato salad is delicious.“
“5 star review… Had Primal Eats catered at a work event on January and had to check this place out. As smoked hobbyists and cooks, my husband and I had to check the restaurant out and see what other food they offered. As we pulled up to restaurant, we were amazed by the lodge and the whitetail game farm around it. The atmosphere was very cool and fun inside. Full bar and dining room. Variety of bbq, sandwiches and brick oven pizzas were some of the things offered. Got the sampler platter and the brisket was on point, best my husband and I ever had. The homemade Mac & cheese and cornbread were a favorite. Fast service and reasonable prices. Nice having entertainment while eating. In summertime this would be a lot of fun and very nice too. Talked to the owner who was super nice and even gave us a tour of the smoke house and kitchen which we loved because for our love of barbecue. Highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to come again. We drove over an hr to get here it didn’t disappoint.“
“Friendly and fun lake adjacent bar, with a basic menu you would expect at most taverns. Their forte is definitely their burgers. Many unique choices on the menu. They have a gigantic one (see my picture) I think it's like 1.8 lbs of meat!! I didn't order that, but a couple of guys sitting by us did. (They split it) It was crazy big, but actually looked cooked well and everything on it looked fresh and tasty. They said it was good. I did however, order a (regular) sized "build your own" burger and a side of onion rings. I liked my burger a lot. Definitely worth coming back for. Onion rings were also pretty good. My wife ordered the fish and chips basket. This meal was very average. Pretty much, your basic frozen battered fish, deep fried and served with okay French Fries. Burger was great, fish basket not so much. Would recommend stopping in for drinks and a burger. Skip the fish. (But maybe they serve different fish for their Friday Fish Fry)“
“Went to Amicos last night for the first time in years. Ordered via phone for pick up, my favorite king club hoagie. Got home opened the bag and much to my surprise exactly the same years ago. I couldn't eat the whole hoagie! There is enough for 4 people. Great people at Amicos and great food!“
