“Excellent service, excellent food. Some of our group had prime rib ( some of the best I have ever had anywhere), some had steak, some had fish. All said food was top notch. Had cheese curds and spinach dip appetizer. Wonderful. Strong drinks…nice change, and a best ever grasshopper. I wish we lived closer. We would come often! Happened in when having our family Christmas weekend. Wonderful place. Worked with our celiac guest without issue. Highly recommend!!”

“At first we thought this little eatery was part of a chain but it is owned be a nice couple and the food is wonderful. They have both local and imported wine. The bread was warm and tasty. My meal was well balanced with just enough pasta, sauce and cheese. The tomato sauce was light and chunky with a little sweetness. Desert was scrumptious. We sat outside with our dogs for lunch and had a delightful meal”

“I was at Riley’s for Black Out Wednesday and all I can say is Jaime is a SAINT. She ran the bar with easily 100 people in there by herself. While others went behind the bar WITHOUT PERMISSION to help she deserves to run every Black Out Wednesday there is. We love Jaime and all that she stands for. THE BEST BARTENDER.”

“We stopped at Cathay Garden Restaurant on our return trip from Tennessee. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. For example, my husband’s request for less hot spice in his Kung Pao Chicken was granted and his meal was perfect. The portions were generous and the food fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in or passing through the Portage, Wisconsin area..”

“I dined here for the first time last year and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately my memory failed me and the restaurant fell off my radar. Thankfully I thought about it again last night as I was meeting a couple friends for dinner. Once again we enjoyed a peaceful dinner on the deck at the bar height table offering a beautiful view of Jordan Lake. My sandwich was delicious and timely. The bartender, who was also the waitress, was very friendly and checked on us several times. I can't wait to introduce this place to others!”
