“For DECADES, the Gerndt Extended Family has patronized and enjoyed getting together at Family Table. It was my Parents' favorite place to go and they were very regular customers there. When in town and since I moved back here from Ioea to help care for my parents in their last years, they lived to 95 with Alzheimers, up until the very end I took them to Family Table where we were always treated very well. We especially love the portions having another meal or two to take home, and previously free desserts with the meal which understandably due to the economy even many years ago, that bonus was stopped. But we still love there dessert assortments with me loving their Strawberry Cheeseake! My daughter and I especially carry on our Family Tradition at Family Table, getting together with my son and his wife, my sisters, my nieces, friends. We would love to see them open again on Sundays as it was a great place to go after Church. Hopefully they can get staff to open Sundays again. Even during the Pandemic we loved the way they all learned and properly wore their masks as we continued to patronize Family Table using their carry-out, especially their Friday Night Fish Fries which are spectacular!!! Today, my sister and her husband are here from Lake of the Ozarks near Camden, MO, and where did sister invite us to meet? Yup. Family Table! Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Large Portions, Excellent Service, Wonderful, Comfortable Relaxing. Quaint Atmosphere. I had the Pork Chops Special, w Pork Chops fried covered in mushroom onions gravie meal which included my Baked Potato with Butter and Sour Cream, Salad, and Corn. Super Delicious!!! Every one else's meals were delicious as well. Ehen my Dad and Mom passed away, i told the Manager and staff and they remembered them well and would miss them. I have not been able to frequent the Family Table for several months due to medical issues, but as things get better I/we will be back for sure on a regular basis. “The service was on time, our family could tell the food was made with care, the sandwiches were fixed so pretty hot and fresh with enough portions of meats, toppings and vegetables. The soup was made at a perfect temperature. The fries could be more alive ( thicker/ juicier):) and warm but that’s not their fault; the company could really use a different method or different fries. Unfortunately this was a Dash order because if I could see the people working tonight I would personally thank them. We appreciate your service and care.“

“Such a cute spot with very friendly staff and AMAZING food! I love that it’s family owned them having the Safina family as the executive chef was a very cute touch lol. Family photos on the wall when you walk in is also such a cute detail.

We got the bruschetta (with Brussels sprouts which was a fun seasonal spin), pistachio pasta which was so unexpected and delicious, and the shrimp diavolo pasta which is a classic but was done very well and used the top tier bucatini.

As an Italian who lives in Chicago I know good Italian food and this is truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!“

“Went here for a late breakfast one morning on vacation. The place was almost empty and service was very prompt. We both enjoyed our food a lot, I had the Basic B and the hash browns were crispy and delicious. My partner had the Saint Benedict and loved it. However, the music was so loud it felt like we had to shout to hear each other at a small table. The lighting was also blue/purple, which I'm sure would be great for nighttime at the bar, but wasn't great for starting the day.“

“Came upon this little gem when looking for a place to have some drinks before a show and so glad we did! This place is so cute, it’s small but it’s very nice inside and has that nice feel of comfort. When we got there it was slow but it quickly got busy and the bartender, Christina, was the only one there besides the cooks and she ROCKED it. She remained collective and calm during the rush that came out of nowhere. The food is also amazing, while we only had a couple of apps, the burgers looked insanely delicious and we are definitely going back to try them.“

“UPDATE negative review to a previous positive review (because you can’t leave multiple reviews) It pains me to say this, but due to the lack of response, care and respect that I received after getting food poisoning from the grilled octopus, I cannot recommend Santorini grill. I was sick all throughout the night and into the morning. I notified them before they opened the next day. Said the octopus was a lot chewier than normal and one bite tasted off. Response was more or less, “thanks, we’ll talk to the staff and investigate.” No apology and never heard back. I wrote back a few days later for a follow up, but that message was ignored. Extremely disappointed to write this because we have always enjoyed their food and would regularly order carry out at least twice a month. Tried to communicate, but customer health must not be of the utmost importance. ORIGINAL POSITIVE REVIEW: Fast, friendly service and great food. “An excellent fast casual dining experience. I was promptly greeted and asked if there was any particular pizza I would like on the buffet, which they made a priority to get in the oven quickly. All the items on the buffet were fresh and rotated out in a timely manner despite it being a Tuesday afternoon between lunch and dinner. The pizza was of a high quality. The store was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. As an added bonus they offered nacho cheese in addition to the usual marinara to accompany bread/cheese sticks. I highly recommend this buffet to any pizza lover.“

Charles seved my family and I on last thursday for a birthday lunch. He was charismatic, kind, and most of all attentive. Charles is also an active listener who took information from each person at the table and used it to exceed our individual expectations. Even solutions I didnt know he could solve. Everything about this one is fantastic,fresh and friendly staff !!! Bill-GM and his staff have wonderful customer service best location in the city ! I've never experienced such fresh food from panera like I have at this location ?.. yes they all have fresh food but for some reason this location has been extremely fresh and delicious, I'm a creature of habit so I get my coffee breakfast sandwich,blueberry muffin and if I'm in for lunch I grab a grilled cheese ,a tea and I bounce between 3 of the soups
Chicken with wild rice,chicken noodle or broccoli and cheese a choice that don't disappoint!!! And chocolate chip ? cookies are to die for - did I mention the coffee is always fresh and with the unlimited sip club membership you can have unlimited drinks of soda, hot coffee,ice coffee,hot or cold tea as well as lemonade...overall panera is a great place to sit and eat with the family or friends and just as peaceful to have a meeting!!
