“I swear, the owners and bartenders would give you the shirt off their backs if you'd let them. They were so kind to us and made sure we'd be comfortable and fed at the campground down the road. We tried to give them money for all the supplies they gave us, and they wouldn't take it. Amazing northland hospitality! Will definitely be back, and will always tip fat ?“

“We stopped at the Kro Bar on our way home from Michigan. Friends have suggested to eat there, and we are so glad we did. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and efficient. They were great, and made our visit worth it. We loved our meal, and it had a wonderful homemade touch. Delicious! (I would highly recommend the homemade fries. Yum!) Excellent! “This is a fun place to stop and have a few drinks. The bartenders are great and nice to talk to including the owner Ina who almost always has a smile on her face. It's a beautiful ride out to this bar as you pass a golf course if you're coming from Lake Nebagamon or stop by the river before or after if you're coming from or heading to Barnes. Either way the drive is beautiful especially in the fall as the leaves change or summer as they're budding take a cruise out to Gopher Hole on S a mile or so past Bottons golf course Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin. They're open all year! You'll have a great time“
