“While Milwaukee is world renowned as a city of bars, bars, bars…and bars, the city’s bar culture is unmatched anywhere else. Every bar has its own personality and stories inside their walls. What I like about here is the old school, no-fuss feel but particularly their wonderful hot sandwiches. I started with their popular Italian Bomber with mushrooms. That was so good that I followed it with a Chucktender Steak Sandwich which was soooo juicy and perfectly tender. Both sandwiches were so flavorful that I returned for a Double Cheeseburger with grilled onions. Excellent. The meat is cooked on an old grate grill which adds to the “frozen in time” feel here. Mind you, fries or tots aren’t served here. Cards are accepted (formerly cash only). The sandwiches and cozy neighborly atmosphere in addition to the lovely sandwiches (served on thick bread halves and not buns) makes here a winner in my book.“

Very clean and well laid out with great service. I only had some pizza and snacks but they were well prepared and tasty. I will definitely be returning there sometime to watch a Brewers or Packers game on one of their many TVs.“

“Was never to Oscars before. I didn't expect that I'd be eating the greatest burger I've had in my Life. Meat was thick and juicy. Bun was clean and soft. Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered. I'll definitely be back. 10/10“

“So the review written by "Being Still", I was there with this person. The restaurant reached out to this person through Messenger, but because they blocked Being Still, there is no way to respond to them. And they took the comments off their facebook page and blocked Being Still.... nice.... Seems sneaky to not leave a honest review up for people to see the conversations, but to only have the good ones on your Facebook page. Instead of having to go look in the review section to find honest reviews.“

“Not very often that my wife and I get an impromptu lunch date, but checking out The Social Haus made it well worth it. We kicked things off with bruschetta and goat cheese crostinis—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start. The wings? Flat-out phenomenal. For mains, we split the Tiger Burger and the Cajun crispy chicken sandwich—both were excellent. Sindy was all about the fries, and I’ll take those house chips all day. Service was outstanding—friendly and attentive without overdoing it—and it’s exciting to hear about what’s coming next. Patio expansion, big screen TVs, outdoor bar, pickleball courts… they’re clearly building something special here. Definitely a spot we’ll be back to! #GetHereMKE #ChefApproved“

“I’ve lived in Milwaukee since August & this has quickly become my go-to wing place with my girlfriend (who introduced me to it last year). We come here weekly like clockwork now - before moving here it was my choice when I’d come up from IL to visit (when it was my time to pick) - for the Jacks, Ecto Cooler & the Parm fries but also for the EXCEPTIONAL service by Katie. She helps me navigate this large, fabulous menu & she has never steered us wrong. She is so knowledgeable, fast & friendly. I only wish every place had a Katie to accent a menu this delicious. Nom nom nom. Run, don’t walk here.“
“Had a great time shot pool for 5 hours drink soda people very friendly the wasn't really that busy but it was busy enough to wear the bartenders were busy had a great time nothing wrong with the bar owner I've known for a long time and he built the bar basically by himself he gutted that building and built everything in there all brass hardwood floors just gorgeous I recommend it to anyone thanks a lot for a good time“

“We stopped in last night for the first time, after driving by your place 6-10 Xs a week for the last several years. Not sure why it took us so long, probably because we already had several "favorite" fish fries. But yours just jumped to the top of the list. And yes, if you can't decide, go for the combo . . . that's what I did and it exceeded my expectations. We will be back!“

“This place is a nice little bar with a litte of everything. Good prices, darts, billiards, a few large televisions for sports and they are open on Thanksgiving. If you are in the area, it is worth dropping in. They also have TouchTunes if you are familiar with the app, so you can pick the music that is played while you are there. There is limited parking, but there is street parking nearby as well.“

“I went to visit my cousin who recently move to the area from CA. I live in Arizona and researched bars in the area. This was rated high so I went. All I can say is that this place is awesome! “If you're looking for a quintessential Cotswold country pub with fantastic food and great service look no further. I live down the road and it never fails to deliver. Great in the winter- cosy bar and restaurant with roaring fires and great in the summer- beautiful beer garden. If you cant decide inside or outside there is the option to sit under the beautifully lit outside covered seating (with heaters). They also have rooms!“

“I had a party of 9 including our 91 year old Mom for lunch and shuttle to the Brewer’s game today, service was fantastic, lunch was delicious and the shuttle driver outstanding, thank you for everything, it was a perfect day and a Brewers win!! Thank you for everything ❤️“

“I had my brother-in-law's Celebration of Life party at the Thirsty Duck in Sussex for about 55 people. Jessica Neuhaus, the event sales manager, was great to work with and with her help we pulled off a great party. We were able to have a private part with plenty of room for everyone. Even the kids had a great time with the duck pin bowling and corn hole. We had the Southern Style BBQ dinner with pulled pork, smoked brisket and chicken. And, the food was Amazing! I had nothing but compliments from our guest and really it was all the Thirsty Duck. I highly recommend this venue for your next party. Lisa D.“

“Came up with friends for Harley Homecoming weekend. Our buddy picked this place and I am glad he did. It was amazing! Try the Scotch Egg and spring roll. Delicious! Get something that has corned beef in it! The staff were awesome and friendly. We will be back to try more when we are in the area again.“
