“I had to use the restroom, so my husband stopped at this BP gas station. This is where Meli's is located. I noticed that it was very clean and my husband and I tried the birria crunch wrap and the breakfast melt. The birria crunch wrap was HUGE and the birria meat was so flavorful and generously portioned. The breakfast melt was equally delicious--I highly recommend the steak one because their steak is seasoned very well. My husband got a mangonada and I tried it--it was so unique and so good--I will be getting one the next time that we go here. This appears to be a carryout spot but they do have a few seats inside. Who would've known such outstanding Mexican food could be found in a gas station!“

“this is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant in Racine. They cook authentic delicious breakfast and lunch. it is perfect for us being as my husband is a third shift worker. he can come here at 8:00 a.m. and get an ice cold Corona and a steak burrito and I can get a delicious breakfast. We love hearing about the little town in Mexico that the owners are from from their daughter that runs the front part of the restaurant. You can't get more authentic Mexican cooking and love from this family-owned restaurant.“

“This is genuinely the best Mexican restaurant in the Milwaukee area. We have been coming for years, been here dozens of times, and have never been disappointed. We have tried most of the menu, and it's all fantastic. Our favorite is the alambre and abuelita tacos. The queso dip is phenomenal, the fajitas are amazing, the mole is perfect.. this is genuinely our favorite restaurant in the city. Oh and it's very affordable!! “I actually visit the Azteca Taco Truck 5 to 6x's a week in the warm months. Now that it's very cold, 1-2x's a week. I always get the same items. 3 chicken burritos FULLY loaded the way I like them. The quality of the food is superior to any other Taco Truck around. The portions is what I LOVE.... HUGE! And of course ALL of the guys know my order and I'm greeted with respect, a conversation and a SMILE! After my husband passed away, I don't cook at home anymore for just myself.

She was very patient with everyone, always had a smile on her face, always knew what she was doing, and I was amazed how she never lost her pace with everything. And what I could see there was one too. The food was amazing. I won’t be going anywhere else for Mexican food and I’ve been a lot of places. We had the beef tacos, chicken tacos, and the shredded beef plus we had rice and beans and the Mexican Lindo nachos. It was our first time coming here, because we had tasted their tacos from feast on the streets. We will definitely be coming back here a lot. I recommend this place.“

“I always go here for the corn in a cup but yesterday was just all bad. usually it's alot of corn then the toppings. but I got a cup full of mayo and maybe 4 bites of corn as it just barely covered the bottom of the cup. I tossed it. I should've took a picture but when I talked to a friend they had the same experience. I also asked for flour shells and got corn so I gave that away. another time I've had the best food from here 😋“

“Stopped in to get something to take home, didn't feel like driving so it was a quick walk near where I live. The environment was ok, staff very friendly and welcoming, prices were beyond far especially for the amount of food you get. I ordered the cheese burger and chicken wrap, also some breaded mushrooms. The burger was bigger then expected and so was the chicken wrap. Both were delicious, as I had half of each for dinner. Definitely will be going back to try other things on the menu.“

We both had a cup of Clam Chowder which was delicious. When our meals came we were both genuinely shocked at the very generous portions, in addition everything tasted delicious. Pricing was very reasonable as well, our bill was only $28 (not including tip), service was great so we did tip well and will definately be going back. “I want to take the time to thank the staff and manager on duty on July 27th 2025 around 9pm at the Howell location! They made my night!
I placed an online order at the 27th and college street location and when I picked it up, they said they were out of chicken over an hour before they closed. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. They said they could not give me a refund. I expected to at least have both bowls in the bag just one without chicken, however I was only given one bowl.
I then drove to this location on Howell. I explained what happened, they contacted the other location to confirm the issue. The staff was incredibly understanding and made my missing bowl. They even went above and beyond what I expected.
I can’t thank them enough and am blown away by the customer service! 🔥 10/10“
