“Went with a friend for a 2-for-1 special at lunchtime. Lots of people were there, but still plenty of seating. Not my style of food, but he's a big fan. Things seemed clean, staff was courteous, good portion, variety of tastes. A little pricey for my liking, but the food looked fresh, so you get what you pay for. The guacamole and the pickled onions were yummy. I could have eaten a big bowl of just that! If you're a carnivore and dining with a vegetarian this probably is a great place to go.“
“Was having a bit of a rough day. Hadn’t eaten all day.I walked in, and waited in line for a decent amount of time without being greeted while multiple online orders were packed. Order time came and I got the very last bit of barbacoa scraped from the bottom of the tray which would’ve made for a very soggy burrito. Needless to say I wasn’t real pleased with my experience thus far..I didn’t say too much but the cashier noticed that I wasn’t real pleased, so he stepped in and redeemed the experience. The young man with the long hair double wrapped it for me. He offered me the option to make another burrito with fresh barbacoa. I declined and took the burrito as it was. He rang it up for me at half price for the inconvenience and gave me a drink on the house.Racine generally has some of the worst service I have ever seen, but I was very impressed by how the situation was handled. Give that man a Klondike bar or something.“
“I recently used this store for catering a luncheon at work (for 45 people) and the service they provided was exceptional. They arrived on time with an accurate order and set everything up just right. They were friendly and thoughtful in their preparation. She took great care to set everything up so there would be a smooth flow through the hot bar. She even took the time to place labels near each dish. This store is great for catering! Very professional!“
“I’ve tried everything from their shrimp cocktail (my favorite in town), their chimichangas, to their enchiladas. It’s my go to for a quick lunch or a nice diner with family. All the staff is very friendly and I’m happy Racine has this gem in town.“
“My first visit & I was not disappointed! I was in awe of Javier’s Cuisine. Fabulous & attentive staff. Table side Homemade Guacamole, Tortilla Soup, & Chile Rellenos = DELICIOUSNESS. I already have several more items on the menu I am eager to enjoy. Can’t wait to return! I highly recommend!!“
“We had them for the past week trying everything on the menu. 20 tacos or 5 plates ground beef fried is 35. Which is a very good deal. Plus taste good. The regular steak, chicken, pastor, are 3 for 9. the 10 dallor steak burrito is massive. I would get that before the increase the price. The 3 sopas for 14 is the wife's favorite. I dont remember the name fore the burger sopa, but that is pretty good as well. I will take pics next time of the food before eating it all.“
“Was able to finally eat at Jaramillo’s Home Cook’n food was very, very good. Atmosphere was very nice! While eating I was able to watch a good show just like I was at home! Owners very nice had good conversation with both while we were visiting. Definitely can’t wait to go back! Great job guys and thanks for the good lunch!!!“
“I was looking to grab a quick bite while waiting for my kid’s practice at the R.E.A.L. School to finish, and this place was perfect! Food was served quickly, it’s delicious and affordable. My server Alexis was a delight. Definitely try the Birria tacos or the Birriadilla, so flavorful! ☺️ Will definitely be back. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a Super8 parking lot deter you. It’s the real deal Mexican food.Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid and family friendly place!“
“One of our favorite restaurants to get Mexican food from that is close by and in our neighborhood. The food is ALWAYS delicious! The service was incredible. Super friendly and helpful. We got our food to go. It was last minute, so I had to wait… but didn’t care. I looked around at all the fun and interesting items in the store part of La Tapatia. They have everything from beer, to milk, to produce, and more choices of hot sauce than I have ever seen! It makes sense to call in your order, so it is ready when you get there. I highly recommend La Tapatia!!!“
“Enjoyed flavorful chicken fajita with great tomatoes and onions. Slight extra seasoning, but okay. Delicious rice and beans. Salsa on the side had a nice spice. The molcajete is excellent, serving very hot. Plan accordingly. Service was great! the atmosphere was pleasant!“
