“Great little small-town diner! They are right across the street from the folks who do all of the work on our vehicles (on-road and off-road) so we generally schedule repairs around this place’s opening hours.

Solid B&G but that’s one dish that nobody can figure out how to photograph so I’m including a pic of what I finished eating about 5 minutes before writing this review.

Today, I went for the 2+2: that would be a pair of pancakes with a pair of eggs, cooked to order. I went scrambled. Both were delicious and it’s hard to beat the price.

“As big fans of the original drive-in, we were excited to try this new version. The increased seating and fencing is great and the kids were excited to see the ship and slide remained. It wasn't busy when we stopped, but it took a while for a waitress to bring us menus (we almost went to get them ourselves). She was friendly when she arrived though.

It's not a great place for gluten friendly/free options. If they offer GF buns, they don't advertise it. I had the chicken salad, which was good and plenty of food. Everyone else had burgers and fries or onion rings. Two meals were mixed up (wrong burgers with the sides). Spouse said his burger was okay for a frozen, pre-made patty. Fries were good.

The restrooms need a LOT of work. They seem to have been ignored in the remodel. The women's bathroom sink was not attached to the wall - at all. When I tried to turn it on, the entire thing shifted, and I was worried it was going to fully tip over onto our daughter's food. This definitely needs to be repaired and updated!

We're in Chetek often, and while we won't stop here as frequently as we once did (used to get cheap twist cones daily), we'd give this place another try.“

“I wish I would have gotten the name of our server as she was funaminal!! The service was fast, accurate and friendly. After our group was turned away from another so called restaurant an 1 1/2 before their closing time, this was a great and very refreshing experience!!“

“The cabin was spacious and very clean with PLENTY OF SPACE for everyone --both in the living area, bedrooms and bathroom. Having a slip for our pontoon was a definite plus! We had a great time exploring the lake and coming back in the evening to listen to some fabulous bands right outside the door. Would absolutely come back for another visit!“
