“My family was driving around looking for something to eat last night and we are still pretty new to the area and thanks to Google we found this place. We have only been here a year or so, so we don't know the area very well. Best Happy coincidence ever. First of all it was getting late and it most places close kitchen around here at 9...we were late so we had just kinda gave up and decided to just sit down for for a drink before conceding to white castle all the way in Hinckley. Randy was super nice enough to take our orders, didn't even ask- he didn't have to though which was really cool of him. He was pretty knowledgeable about the area, giving us some info about the local lakes and where the back roads lead to. Food- wings were wet which is an A+ in my book. That alone is 3 stars. He was out of bone in, but the boneless wings were big so it was a lot of food. Beers were cold, we ate good, had a great conversation, He had a cool dog. We walked out happy! Also side note, they are dog friendly!“
“I had their fish fry special. Had broiled cod. Got 3 nice size, thick fillets. Tasty and the cold slaw was tasty too! We went at 6:30 pm so 5 pm rush had already left. Got a table right away. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient!Kid-friendliness: Enough room for young kids to move around and play.Parking: Adequate. Short walk to the front door. Handicapped accessible.“
“You have to try the Duck Wontons for an appetizer. They are so good! You get a lot of bang for you buck here. The portion sizes are huge. So make sure you come hungry!! The people and staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a truly great time.“
“Stopped by the Gandy for Meat Raffle night on Friday. Great local crowd. Boy were we surprised when the raffle was not the only "meat flavored" treat of the evening as the menu also featured the Meat Mash pizza. This pizza was a meat lover's dream - featuring rising oven-baked crust, topped with mozzarella cheese, a rich tomato sauce, zesty pepperoni slices, jumbo sausage, smoked ham and bacon. No artificial flavors and preservative-free crust. I didn't personally inspect the ingredients, but certain it was made with 100% real cheese. Beers - check. Grainbelt - check. Pizza not your thing? There is a buffet to cover your appetite - homemade ham and cheese sandwiches and bowl of ruffle potato chips. Indeed, I am ruffled with mouth-watering anticipation for a return to this local haunt.“
“My new fave place when I go to the cabin. Food is fantastic and service was phenomenal. Seriously. Packed night during a walleye tournament and our food came out hot and fast and the drinks came out cold and fast. Very impressive. Ned was our server and he is a favorite of my folks. We had duck bacon wontons, cheese curds, French fries and hot honey cheese balls. All were fantastic, but the duck bacon wontons stole the show. Played some pull tabs to pass the time. Restrooms were clean. The bar was decorated for Halloween and the bartender gave my daughter some Halloween candy and that made her night. Very family friendly. The patio overlooks the lake with a fantastic view. You can boat to the bar, there is dock parking. New favorite WI hangout“
“Personally I think they have the best Bloody Mary’s. The kids love their pancakes (the top one is typically shaped like Mikey Mouse). My wife loves the eggs Benedict and I go for the albatross (breakfast burrito).Parking: 30+ spots right out front.“
“We stopped for Friday fish fry. Very good food! The boasted chicken was very good also. Kids meal mac and cheese was homemade and very good also.Kid-friendliness: Kids were rowdy, and the waitress just went with it. Would be happy to take them along again.“
“This place is great! Was there scouting seasonal sites and having the Inn on-site with great people, staff and owners made our decision to choose Oak Ridge and easy one. Was up this last weekend for the delivery of our camper and stopped in and had breakfast and even though they were busy getting ready for St Paddy's the staff were friendly and took time to have conversations and give us the low-down on events and happenings over the summer. Looking forward to a great camping season at Oak Ridge!!!“
