“The Snickers martini is really good! I was surprised when they mixed it, filled my glass and gave me the rest of the shaker. There are a lot of items on the salad bar! Everything I tried was great! I ordered the tips. Yummmmm!!!!! They were tender without fat or gristle. The mushrooms were really flavorful. The smashed potatoes were really good. Next time I think I'll order the Ahi Tuna. Tried a bite of someone else's and it was phenomenal!!“

“Stopped here on a group fundraiser motorcycle ride. Was a bunch of other bikers here already and more were stopping as we were leaving. We didn't eat here. It was a very hot day and I just ordered a water, when the lady brought me a bottle of it, she said there was no charge. I saw a lot of people with bottles of water and am just assuming, those were all free too, which is very a nice gesture. Very cool atmosphere and the staff genuinely made everyone feel welcome and that their business was appreciated. Definitely want to go back when I have time to hang out for awhile.“

“What a great neighborhood bar! Drinks are cheap and the patrons are friendly. Ordered pizza from a pizza place and they delivered it right to the bar. The bartender supplied us with paper plates and napkins! I would think about moving to Winona for this bar and the donuts“

“An East End of Winona landmark for over a century! Sloppy Joe's is a great place to hang out, have a few beverages and some bar fare, watch a little TV and shoot some pool. Owned and operated by the same family forever. Inexpensive fun in an old-timey corner bar atmosphere.“

“Had fun with our group teaching and ultimately experimenting making alcoholic root beer floats with the bartender. She was very nice sport about it. We came up with a delicious new combo. Spent many weekend afternoons with my dad with the original Poots. Brought back wonderful memories.“
