About The Coffee Grounds

The Coffee Grounds is not your typical coffee shop, offering more than just drinks as it also sells items like waygu beef, kitchen necessities, and unique gifts. The spacious location is great for sitting and visiting, making it suitable for gatherings like ladies' brunches or company meetings. The back room provides ample seating, enhancing the atmosphere for conversations. Food is basic but flavorful, with a hot food menu that is worth trying. The coffee and food are generally good, though prices are slightly above average. The selection of local goods is impressive, including jams, wines, honey, spices, and various food items, all reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, and there are plug-ins for devices and WiFi available. The entrance is at ground level, making it accessible for wheelchairs and walkers.

The Guatemala 'light' roast V60 pourover is very smooth and balanced. The coffee shop has a decent Friday retired crowd in a boutique-esque food and beverage setting, and it is one of the, if not the first, specialty coffee shops in Eau Claire / Chippewa Valley. Customers have enjoyed the great coffee, delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere, with highlights like the breakfast burrito and the cinnamon swirl latte. While the breakfast offerings are wonderful and unusual, the lack of Tabasco sauce to accompany the biscuits and milk gravy was noted as a missed opportunity. The coffee shop also has a huge variety of fresh-roasted coffee, a beautiful coffee machine, and the ability to grind your own coffee.

Nice place, great cookies

A cool place. You walk into a market where you find food, kitchen items, beer/wine/liquor, and seating. To your left is made to order coffee, food, and drinks. To your right is a brewery. We got dinner on the left and then ate it in the brewery. The service and food were very good on the restaurant side. The bartender in the brewery was awesome and the beer was excellent. When the restaurant/market closed at 7:00 PM, you exited through the patio entrance of the brewery....read full review

I came in and had a wonderful interaction with a girl named Rue. I was having a rough day and she was an absolute gem. She complimented my earrings and chatted with me about my day while it was slow. 10/10 would come here again. I got a scone and a coffee and it was delicious!!
