“I want to compliment the fine staff at this Starbucks. On a Friday evening a few weeks ago, my children and I were about to leave a nearby restaurant on our bikes when my 8-year-old daughter fell, hurting her leg. I was trying to comfort her as she sat on the concrete crying when I noticed a Starbucks employee approaching us from across the parking lot. We weren't even customers, but she had spotted us through the drive-thru window and wanted to help. The employee (whose name, unfortunately, I don't remember) guided us back to the store and offered my daughter some Band-Aids and a cake pop, which rapidly turned her tears to smiles. It is these little acts of kindness that make the world a better place, and I want to make sure this employee and her co-workers get the credit they deserve!😄“

It is a little weird and awkward that the bathrooms are locked and you need to get a code from the staff to get access; it was a busy morning so had a hard time flagging someone down just to use the bathroom.“

“HOLY MOLY. Where do I begin? From the grill area, to the sandwich shop, produce, sushi arrangement, and everything between… this store is amazing and sets a great example for other stores. I wish I could remember her name, but for the life of me I just can’t. She is a cashier - a deaf woman and has a sign up that says you can use her white board. I know very basic sign language but I always try to communicate with her, even if it is finger spelling. She is so friendly and has the best attitude towards me even just signing “how are you?” I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to be deaf in a hearing world. She’s such a light and we love seeing her. We have had other very positive interactions with cashiers. We always come through on our way to our Minnesota residence from Illinois. We stop in Eau Claire, since it’s about 6 hours in and then we have another 3 to go. It’s the perfect stop for groceries and to load the coolers up. Oh, and the wine/spirits area is amazing and full of some very helpful people! Huge THC drink selection if you’re into that. My partner always checks out the current whiskey on special display and grabs a cigar or two. All in all it’s one of the things I look forward to when we drive to Minnesota. I applaud this store.“
