This is a dive bar. It has quite a history back when then had live music. Jazz legends have played here. And their pics adorn the walls. But the stage has been boarded up for storage. Never less the place is still pretty hip. Tap beer served in 8 ounce glasses for a buck and a half. Regional craft beers available. No light beer as the neon sign says. Cash only. Haven’t been for decades but had so many great times there years back that I have a reoccurring dream about trying to get there? Have heard it hasn’t changed a bit and I hope it never does?

What a classic! Our bartender was the best I’ve ever had (woman in her thirties with Princess Leia buns on the back of her head). She is fast, fun and filled us in on the Water Street developments and all the other questions we threw at her. We had a blast. Thank you!
