I've had drinks with friends here a few times, and this is a cool cocktail bar. But this was the first time I had dinner. The seasonal tasting menu was awesome, affordable, and featured seasonal and local ingredients. My favorites were the celery soup, trout with fingerling potatoes, short rib with polenta, and flourless chocolate torte. This is our second time at The Lakely. We didn't have food, only drinks. They had a jazz band, and it was actually a very good band. All young, talented, promising musicians from Eau Claire. They do live music every Friday as well some other days, too. Would love to try again next time.

A group of us stayed at the oxbow hotel and ate dinner here. Pretty good food, good drinks. All of our tabs and orders got mixed up amongst the group and with another table. Other than that it was pretty good. We'd probably eat here again if we were to stay at the hotel.
