I was on the hunt for some delicious door county apple wine a friend had served us like a decade ago (that they got at the state fair) and we just happened upon lautenbachs this weekend, hoping to find said wine and there it was. we were amazed at the wine selection, the food mixes and bakery items. we bought so much there, and then to hear the music in the outdoor area, see the beautiful orchards, and the gourmet grilled cheese truck out back (which had amazing chicken pesto...read full review
Enjoyed an afternoon of music compliments of David Cavanaugh!!! And great wines to choose from!! Also noticed a few groups enjoying the day, music and wine!
Cherry pie is the best. Always stop when in Door County. should offer water with wine flights to cleanse palette.

Based on the reviews, Lautenbach's Market, Winery & Cider Co. is a must-stop place in Door County. The store is beautiful, brightly lit, and easy to move around, with helpful, friendly service and delightful people. There are lots of gift ideas, choices of wines and ciders, and things to drink from. It is a fan favorite for wine connoisseurs, and customers can sample if unsure what to want. Every food tried was delicious, including the Cherry & White chocolate Scones and the incredible Pesto Garlic Aioli. The variety of products is incredible, with cherry treats, syrups, baked goods, fresh donuts, and salsa with a unique flavor. Chocolate-covered caramels are absolutely amazing. The store also has a fun retail section with Door County and Wisconsin-themed items, a candle selection with a wide range of scents, and beautiful Christmas ornaments. It is a unique place to visit, with beautiful scenery of the cherry blossom and cherry picking available. In the fall, there is a pit spitting contest outside. It is a place to linger and enjoy, warm and inviting.
