“We visited Hachi Hachi in Brooklyn today for lunch and had a very pleasant experience! The food was delicious and the service excellent. Lunch specials were a great price for lunch portions, and the sushi was very fresh and flavorful and they had a good selection of items outside of sushi as well as a kids menu for your littles (or those in your group not into sushi). We didn’t realize the boba tea and poke bowl spot was around the corner, but we know now! If you are thinking about trying, don’t hesitate, definitely a pleasantly surprising find in a small town. We will definitely be back again - and recommend!“

“First time here with my son, who found it on Google.
We came early for dinner on a Saturday, just after 4:30pm. It only has 7 or 8 tables.
We started with Miso Soup, Gyoza and Hot Tea and a Ramune Soda. My son had the Empire Lobster Roll and I had the Super Dynamite Roll.
It was all delicious.
Our server, Winnie, did a great job, especially after all the tables started filling up.
We will definitely go back here again when in the area. Our boys will be moving here this fall, so not too long before we return!

“This restaurant's best offerings are their American style maki sushi exploding with all kinds of fillings and toppings. The appetizers and other offerings are pretty basic. The nigiri was disappointing but as expected for this part of the country. The cocktail menu is interesting, but I haven't sampled much from it yet. The new decor is kitschy and over the top, but it imparts a fun, casual vibe if you just kind of relax and enjoy it. Some of the sushi plates had little orchid / flower sprays on them that were quite visually appealing.“

A wide selection of sushimi and sushi, as well as appetizers, and an assortment of entrees too. “I have been a regular patron at Sushi Express for about 4 years now. I describe this place as a place to get “4 star sushi for 1 star prices”. Their menu is extensive, with many creative rolls, and their 2-roll or 3-roll specials are hard to beat price wise. My personal favorite is the Lake City Roll. The wait staff are always friendly, and I can only recall one time where I waited more than 10 minutes for my sushi rolls. I’ve also ordered delivery from here many times. I once waited over an hour for an order, and they gave me a $10 store credit upon realizing my GrubHub order didn’t go through entirely. Like any restaurant, these folks are human and 99% of the time you’re going to get great sushi with great, friendly service at a price that won’t break the bank. More cities need a Sushi Express like this one in Madison, WI. 5/5 stars for their delivery service and 6/5 stars dine in. HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone that wants great sushi but doesn’t want to break the bank.“

“I am a sushi lover, and this place serves really good food with fairly price. I ordered some sashimi with sushi rice. The quality of salmon is excellent. We went to a sushi restaurant in downtown last week. They serve kind of the same food as Fin sushi, but they passed off white rice as sushi rice for the sushi roll. I believe a reliable sushi place should use sushi rice to make sushi. And I prefer the real sushi rice because it tastes better than white rice. Actually the customers are able to identify the difference. Thanks for the good food and I will come back to try some other sushi:)“

“I have gone there several times to eat, the food is excellent. The people are very nice. But today the waiter who served us seemed not to have a good day, part of the good experience is not only the food but how the server treat you.
The server who attended me never asked me if I wanted something to drink, I ordered a hibachi steak, he didn’t ask me how would I like my steak?.
He didn’t come to ask if we were missing something, he just came to give us the bill and that’s it. He didn’t even ask if we wanted something else.

“We, my husband and I, love this place! It’s honestly hard to find a straight forward and good Chicken Teriyaki in Madison/surrounding areas (We live in Middleton). So this place is perfect for it. The price is more than reasonable for the amount of food you get, it’s hot and delicious, and fresh due to the high volume of orders they are making.The veggies, the chicken, rice and sauce- yum! Plus it makes great leftovers, which I almost always have if I get my own order. A lot of times, my husband and I will split an order if we want to save money. It’s the perfect, not too heavy dinner or lunch.I will say one thing, and that is that you have to like dark meat chicken because I believe they use chicken thighs. Not a problem to me, but I know some people prefer white meat chicken.They also have a punch card system, so after every 6 you get a freebie- we just cashed one in yesterday!The staff is friendly, quick, and I like how you get to watch them make the food.Overall, this place is perfect for a a chicken teriyaki craving… definitely worth a try! “The sushi rolls are very good. The fish is very good quality and their special rolls are unique and well executed.

I have never had conveyer sushi, however my experience there with the concept was very fun. I was able to hunt down what I wanted and waited to pounce on it when it came by. If someone took it, it was disappointing, but now it makes you long for the roll to come by again.

Come for their menu meal, or try their all you can eat option. I have tried both and have thoroughly enjoyed both“

We were provided service, an unheard of thing these days where your name is yelled across a room and you retrieve your meal.walking in I really did not expect my food to come to my table, better yet someone checked on my satisfaction levels and everything. Then to my surprise the plate vanished. They don't take themselves too seriously, but it's nice that type of place either. While the appearance may look like some of the food barkers, the overall experience is just better. .

I had the spicy teriyaki it was good, it had heat, I regret nothing, except may a bit of salt lacking. Will return.“

“Really great place. I got Tonkatsu ramen with no meat, and it was less than $10 for a very filling bowl with lots of green onion and other toppings. Server was kind and made sure I understood what I was ordering. I came first thing when they opened and it was super quiet, but I bet after work the food court fills up. Overall great food for a low price, would recommend for a quick/cheap meal.“
