“Hands down, the BEST restaurant I've been to in the Milwaukee area. Merica was our server and she was simply the best- friendly, professional, funny, and very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Our food was phenomenal, we ordered seconds of the Jamaican goat and the duck wontons. The restaurant offered to let us sample the fall dessert menu ahead of time for free, this was the best restaurant experience I've ever had, you've got a life long customer from here on out. “We ate here on 4/27. We were able to sit outside, it was so nice. The view is beautiful. The service was impeccable!! Brittany was our server, she was fantastic and Michael’s attention to quality and detail, second to none!! We were a group of 7 and amongst us, covered burgers, wings, chicken, steak, pasta and appetizers. I had the chicken chowder soup, it was a wonderful meal in itself. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Big kudos to the Chef! Highly recommend“

“We had a lovely experience on the beautiful, secluded patio for my husband's birthday. Our server was Maya, who took very good care of us, and timed our shared plates just right. We had the crab stuffed poblano pepper (delicious), 6 oysters on the half shell (very fresh!) also the tuna sashimi dish, which was outstanding, and the duck tenderloin which was my favorite, and was accompanied with an Asian-inspired slaw. We each had three of the signature cocktails, which were delicious. Overall, an absolutely wonderful evening from start to finish“

“This is my husband's favorite restaurant. It offers good meals, lots of choices, and fair prices. We love the 222. It has delicious crispy bacon, eggs done right, and large and delicious pancakes.“

“I'm very torn writing this review. I want to give 5 stars and 1 star all at the same time. I've had multiple pleasant experiences here and the food is AMAZING! My issue was on St. Patty's Day....I arrived at the bar and order Reuben Rolls and a green beer (St. Patty's Day of course!) The people who sat down after me received their food before I did. I then asked the bartender again for the rolls and some dessert (to go this time) and was presented with my food, I paid my bill and left. It was a very upsetting experience for me and I don't think I'll be returning here anytime soon. ☹️ Thank you to everyone at Rte 20 who was so kind to me and I loved the conversations that I had with both the staff and the other patrons. They have tons of TVs in the bar so you can pretty much watch whatever you want while you are eating. They also have specialty drink and shot menus that will blow your mind. They should be having some big bands over the summer so I would recommend checking them out if you've never been!😀😀“

“Working very close to this Charcoal Grill , on top of being new to the area and Charcoal Grill restaurant, I have had nothing but exceptional experience. All staff is nice & eager to help. “Those ppl running out the orders to your car from the drive through are running fast and hard! And really nice, too. I get sometimes you can get your order done right away and have to pull to the parking lot but the location I was at (and go to often enough) they did this for every single car getting more than a drink or ice cream. You gotta get this together soon, winter is coming and you can't have them running out in that weather and ground conditions!!“

I actually stopped going there for that reason, but their omelets are too good, so I just get them to go. You can see through a full pot of coffee. “9/15 late evening (9pm ish) there was a young boy running out orders (plays baseball in neighboring community) we did not get his name… he brought out another order and we asked him to check on our kids meal and ice cream that we had been waiting over 20min for.. he was so polite and courteous, checked and brought our items out immediately and apologized (not his fault) he then came back as we pulled off with fresh ice cream (ours was melting) and coupons. “My wife and I arrived at J&M's last night at about 9pm. We asked if the kitchen was still open and they said they were just closing it up. The waitress ( found out she was really the owner) said she would ask the cook if we could still order something and came back and took an order for us. This was beyond what we expected when they told us the kitchen just closed. We were and are thankful for thier kindness and great customer service. We will be back, this time way before kitchen closing time. Thanks again!“
