“I have been coming to cedar valley hunt club for the last 3-4 years. The last 2 years we have been paired with Jake and his dog Cedar. Absolutely amazing what his dog can do and how well she listens to him. Would highly recommend requesting Jake as your guide. Very social and tries to provide equal opportunity for everyone in your group to shoot some birds. Overall would highly recommend this hunt club and Jake and Cedar as your guides. Paul who left a 1 star review must be a pretty bad shot and has about as many IQ points as birds he shot.”

“The French fries are awesome, skin on. The burger was very good. My husband had the Philly cheese sandwich and he thought it was very good as well. My friend had a chicken wrap, that looked really good. I believe I'll go back and try one.”

“Jen is a hard-working young woman who purchased an existing business (Barb's Place, Fredonia. WI) after working there and learning the business. She has made it her own. Customers are her friends and extended family. It is a pub and grill with good food and drinks. Many specials for lunch. During the day, it is family friendly. Evenings bring karaoke, live entertainment, and lots of fun for adults.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrance.”

“I love this place. I’ve been there several times, especially for brunch. Plus their breakfast and lunch food is super yummy. Just as yummy as the Luxembourg Cafe place. Usually, I eat their breakfast food for lunch. So I ate 2 scrambled eggs, 2 bacons, hash browns, sausages, and white or wheat toast. It’s healthy, decent, affordable & a great place to eat at. My mom goes there too & she loves it. We hope this place remains opened. Especially for the nearby customers. Thanks Family Fredonia!????Parking: It’s simple to find parking. There’s hardly any cars. “Went on a Friday night for fish fry and it was pretty good. Nothing over the top, or anything that will blow you away, but its better than some of these other local family restaurants thats for sure. They have a decent selection on their menu, and the wait for anything take out is pretty quick if you choose to grab something on the go. I have stopped in about 5 times since I learned about the place and i haven't been disappointed with any of the food i ordered. My hats off to the owner as he's normally the only one cooking, at least he has been the only one cooking every time iv stopped in, usually Friday's for fish fry. He definitely has a passion for cooking and that’s something you don't see often with restaurant chefs anymore. He will personally come to your table to greet himself and to ask how your food is to your liking! Thats the passion im talking about, and he seems to really care about his customers. Iv seem so many restaurants come and go over the past 20 years in that location because they just dont make enough to keep in running. If anyone deserves a successful business to stay open it would be the current owner as he’s a great example of how a business should operate and interact in a smaller town. Every customer is so crucial to his success and the effort he puts in for each customer to ensure satisfaction is definitely off the charts.”

“We have been to Messina several times in the past few years, and always are greeted pleasantly, and enjoy the charming hand-painted murals on the walls. It is the wonderful food and service bringing us back every time. There's quaint Italian music, or a mix of Jazz and Sinatra piped into the lounge. A small but nice wine offering is a plus.Whether we have steak, pasta or seafood, we are always impressed. A favorite is their marsala. Salads are crisp, fresh pepper is applied tableside. Entrees are beautifully presented, and breads are wonderful, served warm with butter. My favorite is the desserts - I never leave without having tiramisu, and Messina's is wonderful... Even on Saturday nights, without a reservation in a snowstorm, or in July at the height of the dinner hour on a weekend this place shines - in every way. Food, Service, and Atmosphere.There is an exceptional wine list which we occasionally enjoy, too. I love this place and have always hesitated putting out such a wonderful review, because I don't want to find the place so busy as to not be able to give me the great service that we have always enjoyed! “From the moment you descend the stairs, you feel like you are in another time and another world. Our food was delicious! The fish was hot and cooked perfectly. The steak fries came out piping hot and crispy. Our waitress was phenomenal! She kept apologizing for our wait (which we didn’t feel was that bad). We ordered Janet’s Carrot Cake for dessert and when the waitress brought it she said it was on the house. This gem in Port Washington is something you can’t miss.”

“We had the pleasant experience of having Koffie Trader cater heavy appetizers at our recent gathering. WOW! The bourbon meatballs, gorgonzola stuffed mushrooms, water chestnuts wrapped in beacon, spinach cheese spanakopita and assorted desserts were a huge hit. Great presentation and everything was delicious!!!!”

“I recently moved to Newburg and was excited to see all of the new restaurant options to check out. My first experience was take out of Cork N Barrel (which is walking distance from my house!)I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger Wrap,the Black n Blue Burger, the Barrel Burger,and the Jumbo Patty Melt with a side of Mac n cheese instead of fries.I was a little confused where to go to pick up my food, but was quickly pointed to the kitchen area up the steps.(When you walk in it just looks like a bar). Parking on the street was easy to find.The macaroni and cheese was delicious!! I will definitely be getting that again. The barrel burger and the jumbo petty melt were amazing!! I think the patty malt was my favorite thing so far. The black and blue burger was pretty good except it was a little disappointed how simple it was. But everything was cooked to perfection!!Next time I might try eating there instead of take out because it looks like a great atmosphere.Highly recommend!”

“The outside renovation is beautiful for large groups and includes a stage for bands. Indoors is pleasantly updated and features your typical Wisconsin bar decor and games. Good mix of a townie bar and a place I'd bring visitors. Great space for large groups and a great location. Staff has also been helpful, friendly, and accommodating in my experience.”

“The pretzel combo appetizer was so delicious and amazing!! They served it and I freaked out!! It made me so happy!! Huge fluffy delicious pretzel the size of an extra large pizza filled w giant Mac n cheese bites and chicken nuggets and cheese curds! Each tastier than the other. You had me at giant pretzel!!!!! And of course cheese for dipping. Ordered the fish combo for dinner - omg the scallops were magical. The fried fish lightly breaded and oh so tasty. Would definitely drive 2 1/2 plus hours to come back. Seriously, the pretzel alone are what dreams are made of”

I love that they have a good selection of wines - I prefer dry reds myself, but there’s other varietals with multiple levels of sweetness. Prices are good, am planning to return!”

“We got the tempura cauliflower for an appetizer, which was good. I was surprised the sauce came on the side, I would have assumed it'd be tossed, but the portion size was generous and tasty. I got the hipster sandwich, which was a lot and definitely not able to be picked up. I feel like less is more with this dish. I don't think it needs as many toppings and it would still have been delicious. My husband got the Friday fish fry beer battered and smashed potatoes. The coleslaw was good and we're generally not coleslaw fans but the dill dressing made it stand out. The location is amazing, would return again.”
