“I was in Fredonia for the day and I headed to Jen's Place for lunch. I honestly picked the place because of the name, it made me smile and think of my friends, "The Jens" ... After placing my order, the bartender said my name rather loudly, but I didn't recall giving her my name or any form of payment that would identify myself. Turns out she had my debit card, which was turned in to her by a local (regular?) and then returned to me. I was shocked that I hadn't noticed I lost it (likely by my car) and more shocked that it was turned in! Her reply to my gratitude, "Welcome to Fredonia, where the people are honest." I was so thankful for the patron and the bartender for their kindness and honesty. In addition, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding!”

The food is exceptional—comforting, generous, and made with care. Every dish tastes like it was prepared the right way, no shortcuts, just quality ingredients and pride in the work, thank you Bryan!!! The burgers and fry’s were phenomenal, perfectly cooked! Portions are hearty, prices are more than fair, and you actually leave feeling like you got a great value.

The staff is incredible: warm, attentive, and happy to chat, remember your name, or make a recommendation. It feels less like a business and more like a gathering place where people still believe in good service, good food, and treating folks right. Thank you Jasmine and Dave for welcoming a couple strangers on a rainy, gloomy night. Along with Chef Bryan you brought some sunshine into long weeks of unpacking! So glad we ran out of food to eat at home and decided to check out LKH!

“We were up in Plymouth, WI for the races on Saturday, 6-6:26. We had to leave really early on Sunday for trip home. We were hungry and Fredonia Family Restaurant was actually open that early! We were greeted warmly. The menu is varied and expected for a family restaurant. Our food came quickly and was good, hot and filling. Prices were reasonable. If you're ever going through Fredonia, WI, be sure to stop!”

“I've eaten a lot of different pizzas in a lot of different places. Random Lake Pizza is easily the best I've ever had. The Olive You pizza is just excellent. It's a small, quaint, friendly place. They even make their own ice cream!!”

“We love coming to Pliers full circle . However I was disappointed in the waitress (Beth). We were there March 5. I was looking forward to whitefish. Apparently it's hard to get. So I had shrimp. We ordered drinks which we didn't get until our dinner. Our dinner took forever. People around us who arrived later were served before us. We'll be back but hope we get a different waitress..”

“What a great evening! We had a group of nine, we called for reservations and were seated early. Outstanding service by Mary our wait staff! She was very attentive and a joy! Our food. The best! Members of our group tried all the Friday night offerings plus the Mahi and cauliflower mashed! Very tasty! Especially the seafood chowder which was velvety smooth and delicious!. Bonus …I had the opportunity to talk with the owners about this journey they are on! Check out this marvelous restaurant for a taste treat. Five stars!”

“Had the pleasure of visiting The Hive today! I tried “The Veggie” sub with grilled chicken added! It came with a side of potato salad and for desert I had some home-made poppyseed bread!! Today I had a Tito’s with diet sprite but I can’t wait to come back and try one of their THC Elixr’s”

“On Wednesday we ordered a Christmas tree pizza and a chicken Parmesan pizza. They were both sooooooo good! In fact they were so good that we ordered two of each of them tonight. Plus, we ordered their hand rolled mozzarella sticks and cheesy garlic bread (which is free for every two pizzas you order on Friday nights). By the way, both the mozzarella sticks and garlic bread are homemade. If it was possible everything was even better tonight. If you haven’t eaten at Riverview Inn, run don’t walk to this sleeper of a restaurant. I would give them 100 stars ⭐️ on this review if I could. Both times I was greeted very warmly and despite the fact they were super busy both times I didn’t have to wait long to get my orders. I can’t say enough to how good their food is. I would eat here every night if I could. Thank you so much Riverview Inn for the delicious pizza, mozzarella sticks, and cheesy bread. We will definitely be back again in the future!”

The “Situation” pizza was spectacular, and it pretty much confirmed that I’d probably enjoy anything on their menu. And that’s my only complaint… this place might be a problem.
