“The Gooseblind is a great place to go for FRESH, homemade food to order! Yeah the wait can sometimes be a bummer… but that’s a cost I’m willing to take when I know my food is being made fresh to order!! Nothing here is “premade” & a lot of love & energy goes into the food. The burgers are delicious, apps are always great, pizzas are PHENOMENAL (fully made fresh- even homemade dough!!) & the sandwiches are always amazing! Come to the Goose for some amazing food! Obviously don’t be a douche & demand that your party of over 10 people be sat immediately when it’s super busy. That’s basic restaurant courtesy that a lot of people have seemed to have forgotten….”

“Treated my Mom and her friends to dinner at the Oakwood Restaurant. The trio could not say enough great things about their dining experience. Tremendous service, great cocktails and elegant dinner. The menu was what lead to the reservation versus other Green Lake restaurants, the result was a spectacular evening for them.”

“I stopped to get beef brisket and mashed potatoes. Apparently Mashed potatoes is a seasonal item but they had potatoe salad mash? I said I'll try it wasn't thrilled not a repeat option for me. But was a surprise was the brisket. Dry and cold. Yes I ordered sliced 1/2 # I wanted Js for a month so I finally stopped. Now I'll stop going. I thi k I was given a left over dish no moisture at all not warm just cold slabs of stiff dry meat.”

“I’m back here again and let me tell you this is a must stop place!! Not only do they serve Wisconsin favorites, but their elevated menu offers dishes that rival big-city restaurants. Their Friday fish special is unbeatable. This past Friday they had scallops which were perfectly seared, buttery, and paired with vibrant seasonal flavors. Actually the corn from the dish was from a local farm stand, delicious. We also got the beet & goat cheese salad, a delectable contrast of sweet, tangy, and nutty flavors. For drinks I went with the The Lime in the Coconut which is a fun take on a daiquiri with coconut cream, lime, and a hint of Tajín for balance. The creative drink list—featuring favorites like the Dragon Rita Tini and James Hendrix—makes this the perfect place for dinner and drinks.”

“We had this bakery do catering for our wedding. The bakery did an amazing job with our cupcakes and cookies! Not only did everything look beautiful and fit perfectly with our wedding theme, but it tasted even better. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was. The flavors were spot-on, and the presentation was absolutely perfect. They were also wonderful to work with—easy communication, flexible, and clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend for any event!”

“Since coming across this fantastic deli recently I cannot recommend it enough! I literally go here twice a week for their made to order, sliced and diced fresh hot and cold subs.Karla is fantastic and her recommendations are always top notch. Ive had the made to order subs and her specialty subs. Italian (yum!!!) hot or cold will not disappoint nor will the bangin' deli dressing. The cold sliced roast beef with Colby longhorn cheddar is one of my favorites, don't forget the horseradish and pepper gourmaise! (ugh to die for). Not to mention there are 4 choices of baked breads to top it all off with. If the subs weren't enough it's an actual DELI. The deli salads are also great. The potato salad..delish.”

We were there last night and were commenting that over the years we have never had a bad food experience once, it’s always phenomenal! The coulee salad with raspberry dressing is my absolute favorite!”

“food at china 1 in ripon, by far the best within 30 miles of wautoma. food fresh especially vegetables, cooked properly. plentiful. service quick and prices good. we ordered crab rangoon. 5.99 for 5. crispy, not greasy, a snap when you bite into it. i ordered tempura appetizer vegetables with shrimp, same thing. shrimp fresh with good bite[no strong odor or flavor.] tempura awesome with a nice crack when you bit into it. my wife ordered chicken kung pao. all super fresh. too much to eat. made with peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, pea pods, celery, carrots, zucchini all fresh. sauce not greasy or too thick like gelatin .highly recommend. decor was clean, contemporary and fresh looking, not old out of style and dusty like many we have tried. oh! and prices very affordable.”
