This was our first time trying J's and it didn't let us down. They were very helpful with the menu explaining the options. When I asked about the Cole slaw they offered a sample. The brisket had a great "crust" with lots of peppery flavor. Was pretty lean which I like. Cole slaw didn't have dairy and uses a mustard sauce which I'm a big fan of. I stopped in here to J's BBQ on a work visit to Ripon on the advice of this Google review.. It did not disappoint ! I would say one of the best BBQ's I've ever had ! Super tender meat with great bark, some unique, flavorful sauces - so GOOD !Staff was so friendly and helpful as well ! Highly recommend you check it out !

Met a few friends from high school there today and the food was all amazing! The brisket was so tender and Mac n Cheese really creamy. Now for the beans, absolutely the best I have ever had!
