“The Gooseblind is a great place to go for FRESH, homemade food to order! Yeah the wait can sometimes be a bummer… but that’s a cost I’m willing to take when I know my food is being made fresh to order!! Nothing here is “premade” & a lot of love & energy goes into the food. The burgers are delicious, apps are always great, pizzas are PHENOMENAL (fully made fresh- even homemade dough!!) & the sandwiches are always amazing! Come to the Goose for some amazing food! Obviously don’t be a douche & demand that your party of over 10 people be sat immediately when it’s super busy. That’s basic restaurant courtesy that a lot of people have seemed to have forgotten….“

“For our August 2026 wedding, it was important to Trent and I to have something that reminded us of home, from a company known for giving back to its community, and that has some delicious food we always find ourselves craving on those nights we really don't want to cook. We landed on J's BBQ and could not have been happier! Jen and Susan are phenomenal humans to work with. Their prompt response to our initial inquiry, to setting up the complimentary testing, and then the big day, they were nothing but professional and easy to work with. We relied on their knowledge and expertise in many ways, but especially for knowing how much food we needed for a large number of people. Looking back, the only thing we would have done differently is gotten two more hogs of the mac in comparison to their suggestion, and matched the poundage for each type of meat, which we decided as a couple to go against their suggestion based on popularity among our guests. We ended up running out of mac and brisket, but even so, our guests had so many compliments for us on the food - taste, quality, temperature - it was all perfect!“
