Paid for a side salad upgrade and wish I hadn't. It was a bunch of huge leaves, which were not very crunchy and awkaward to put in my mouth. The balsamic dressing was meh. Otherwise the food was really good; appetizing and it paired well with the beers, but not spectacular/top tier. You could do way worse for pub food. But also....isn't 90% of dining in the southern mke suburbs just dofferent versions of pub food?!?!?! That being said, I give Explorium a solid 4.6/5. We are repeat customers.“

“This George Webb is outstanding, probably the best one I’ve ever been to. The people running it treat you like family, and you can feel the pride they put into everything they do. The food is fresh and made with care, a big difference from other Webb’s I’ve been to in recent years.

For me, this place is more than just a restaurant…..it’s personal. My grandmother used to take me to George Webb when I was a kid, and she passed away 10 years ago. Sitting here brought back those memories in a way I didn’t expect. The warm hospitality and quality food reminded me of those special times with her.

I had a nasty respiratory infection a couple months prior, hadn't been able to taste much of anything for over two months... until coming here. I could taste the amazing flavor cooked into all of our items for the first time since getting sick. This was probably about the most satisfying dining experience I've ever had. “I only order the "Jalapeno Popper" from Mac's in Brookfield. Over half the time I order it they don't put in any jalapenos or they put in next to none. How hard is it to properly make this dish? It is super hard to add jalapenos to the JALAPENO popper? After the 3rd order it happened I brought it back. The manager stated, I quote, "There are jalapenos all up in there" while pointing to two small pieces in the ENTIRE DISH. Done wasting my time and money with this location that can't make a simple Mac and Cheese. Pathetic.“

“I am always leary about hotel restaurants. Will it be good? Is it worth the added expense? YES! YES! in this case. Bar tender did a great job with the negroni and dirty martini. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, when we needed it!. We shared a wedge salad and each had soup-we were going to get lasagna but quickly realized we would hardly eat a bite-so our server gladly cancelled that part of our order. We found this place convenient-we were staying at the hotel and going to a concert at BMO but are now fans-i would consider returning. All aspects were better than expected!“

We’ve never had a bad experience or food, but today was particularly exceptional as it was the first time we brought our boys (2 years and 11 months). We had promised our 2 year old ice cream with breakfast as where we were originally going to go, they have malts. Much to our surprise they were closed, cue the toddler meltdown 🫠 Highlands cafe to save the day! No wait, they made a “special ice cream drink” right away for our 2 year old (chocolate milk with whip cream and sprinkles) and he could not have been more happy. The food was excellent to boot!
