“Just arriving in South Milwaukee this Christmas and was so happy to find Burger Town! I'd like to start out by thanking them so much for being open on Christmas Day for those who didn't have anywhere to go eat. Ordered the Italian beef sandwich with peppers onions and jalapenos, Philly cheese steak with onions and peppers, and the barbecue bacon cheeseburger. The meats were very high quality, in fact, they were cutting right off the spit. Everything was delicious and really hit the spot this evening. Service was fast, friendly, and everything was fairly inexpensive. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Amir and his son Haris who moved here 10 years ago from Albania and started this wonderful business. We're definitely going to add this to the list of places to visit when we're in the area!“

“Came here a few weeks ago for dinner. We have been meaning to try it here and finally made a point to stop. My boyfriend and I shared sweet potato fries and das Brat. Wow! We were very impressed with the taste and quality. Everything that was being brought out around us looked amazing, as well. We wanted to try it all. Our bartender was super friendly too! The space is super cool, has a large bar, lots of tabletop seating and also outside seating area. We will definitely be back. The food here is far superior to anything you will get in Luxe golf bays, so if you are going there thinking you will get food, just save yourself some time/money and stop here first!“

The salad underneath the burrata changes seasonally, and the apricot, honey, and truffle oil elevated it beyond expectation. I could have had another order of this for my entrée and been set. My chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Unpretentious but perfectly executed. The potatoes and broccolini came to life with the lemon caper sauce. My husband had the mac n’ cheese with short rib. The creamy mac and tender meat don’t compete in flavor — they’re in a loving, happy marriage. This is what restaurant BBQ mac should be. I’m not usually a crème brûlée person, or at least, I thought I wasn’t. I let my husband pick the dessert, and it did not disappoint. Perfectly creamy and flavorful. This is the experience you want when you decide you’re ordering a dessert. The service was top-notch. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were all delightful. Heirloom MKE delivered one of my favorite dinners to date.“

If we are going to meet for dinner or brunch, chances are good I’m dragging you to Layman’s. I appreciate the skill and work these two put into brewing great beer and making yummy food. The fishfry with that tartar sauce is the best. Smash burgers for breakfast yes please! The bartenders are always crafting some delicious cocktails, and I mean crafting. “The breakfast is amazing. I found this place on a delivery app and have been hooked ever since. Consistent quality food and no mistakes. The omelets are great. The French toast and pancakes are also excellent. They have this cinnamon roll type French toast called “A Little Bit of France”. Just order it and enjoy.“
