As I was leaving on crutches, the GM Jason came across the room to open the door for me without hesitation. “DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY HERE ANYMORE. They used to have employees deliver. The service was always polite, orders were correct and I was happy to tip the driver well. Now, this location has made the short sighted decision to use the train wreck that is DoorDash. My experiences with DD has been nothing but a disaster no matter what restaurant. I refuse to patronize a company that fails so consistently. So today I was ill and ordered delivery. The online app DOES NOT inform you that DoorDash does the delivery until AFTER you check out. That’s kinda sneaky don’t you think? So, do I call the store and cancel my order? Not feeling well, I decided to give it another chance. DoorDash fulfilled my expectations and FAILED again. I was missing an item that was clearly on the receipt on the bag. I called the store and was told I would “need to address the problem with DoorDash”. I was not happy. I drove to the store and spoke my mind to the manager. She was polite and satisfied me as best she could. She made me a fresh order of the missing item and gave me a full refund. For that I am thankful. She did everything in her power to make me happy. I am hoping someone above the store manager learns of this experience and reconsiders their delivery arrangements. I will not use DoorDash or their business partners ever again.“

“This is for the Vliet Street location. I have hit up this place about 5 or 6 times over the last few (winter) months. I absolutely love the variety of soups. I will generally pick up a bowl and 1/2 sandwich for lunch and get a quart of something different to take with me. The food is delicious, well prepared and filling. I never thought I would say that soup was filling but it works for me. Need a cozy comforting lunch? Hit up The Soup Market.“

“Really enjoyed our meal at St Francis Brewery. Stephanie, our server was attentive and friendly. Food delivery was super speedy. Pretzel bites and cheese were so good. We had the Beer can chicken and chicken tenders- both excellent. Also big fans of the sweet potato fries. Live music was fantastic. Altogether a great vibe- we’ll be back!“

“My niece and nephews stumbled on this place tonight. I felt like I was at home eating with my family. The Papaya salad and Laos sausage was as wholesome and authentic as it gets, definitely on point. The staff was awesome, they made my food with the heat I was looking for and with fresh peppers and I could talk with Ottis for hours about food if I wasn't pressed by some sleepy teenagers. I appreciate the experience, it added to the recharging I'm getting on vacation back up here in the cities. I will definitely be back when I come back up.“

“On my soup craving days Soup Market never dissapoints. Always fresh. Samples, suggestions, options. And friendly owner and staff. Recently had a minor mix up and the owner and staff were quick to attend and resolve the issue. I really like establishments that actually care for their product and people. Soup up!“

“Probably the best business breakfast spot in the metro area. Only issue is there is so much space you can miss your client in the same dining room. The sisters that run this location are phenomenal with customers and easily recirfied an error in my sandwich order.“

“Best Panera EVER! I’ve been going to this one since I was little & I’ll forever go to this specific one. The food is always amazing, the workers are so nice & the place overall is just the best. I live across a Panera & I still go out the way to this one. The manager Areta especially is always so helpful & goes above & beyond to help her customers. She does it with me every time & I see it with others too. She makes my order that’s no longer on the menu & does everything she can to give the best experience. “I work right next door and have been coming to this location for several years now on my lunch breaks or after a shift. The staff is always super friendly- ESPECIALLY the night shift :) I've often seen customers giving these workers a hard time for things usually out of their control so just a reminder to be kind and patient with fast food/industry workers. Anytime there's been a mistake with my order (people are human, honest mistakes happen) they're always more than willing to correct it.

The holiday season gets busy and sometimes the wait can be longer during dinner rushes, but Panera themselves will usually send an extra coupon to make up for the longer wait.

The food itself is always great and always hot, especially their soups. The portion sizes of meat on the sandwiches is definitely slim, but it is a chain corporation after all. Same with the pricing. I come here daily on my own due to convenience of it being next door, but it IS pricey. Everything in the world is increasing in price, and Panera has never been cheap to begin with. I've pretty much been living off of the pick two for the past few years, LOL 😅 I wish the Panera rewards system (company wise) generated rewards faster vs the pace they currently do. I'll spend at least $100 here every few weeks on lunches and I'll get a reward for $2 off after 4 or 5 visits, after spending at least $50 🫠 Nothing ever free. My lunch order is never less than $10 a day. Those are complaints for a corporate level, but this location itself is great. Most staff I see on the night shift are teenagers just trying to hustle like the rest of us.

The sip club is definitely worth it for me. I get at least one $4 drink a day for $15 a month. During the winter, their Mochas hit different. ☕️ For me, the sip club easily pays for itself. I really like the items they rotate in for the fall/winter season each year- especially the chili and baked potato soup 🥔🧀🔥

All in all, this is a great place to grab a bite. Everyone will find their own pros and cons, just like any other restaurant. Spend your money where you think it's worth spending! For me, Panera never misses, largely in part due to my soup addiction, the sip club, and the hard-working staff I see each day 💚😝🥖“

“I love the Fuji apple chicken salad for my favorite salad!!! Favorite soup is broccoli cheddar. Favorite sandwich is bacon turkey bravo!! I recommend a “You Pick Two”. Half serving of mixture order of soup, salad, or sandwich. Good drink selection too! But get there before the mad dash of lunch!!! May be hard to find a seat!!“
