“I made the mistake of ordering cookies to be delivered to the wrong address. Unfortunately DoorDash wasn’t helpful but the owner of this shop was amazing! She was kind, patient, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure the order made it to the right person. She offered me a refund which I told her was not necessary since it wasn’t her mistake and we came up with a solution that worked for both of us, she then hand delivered the cookies my friend! Everything tastes so amazing, ESPECIALLY the frosting on the red velvet cupcake. And the decorating is so cute you almost don't want to eat it, but how could you not. “We've had Lynn from A Little Slice of Heaven do 2 of our kids graduation parties in the past as well as my Granddaughter's birthday cake. We've had several flavors of her cupcakes and love the ability to mix and match our choices! Recently my daughter had a taste testing for her upcoming wedding and was so impressed by the service Lynn offered in her own home as they tried several flavors. In the end they chose Raspberry Champagne for their cake as well as some cupcakes, chocolate espresso, carrot cake, strawberry swirl and yellow. My personal all time favorites are the carrot cake and Oreo cupcakes! I'm very excited for the upcoming wedding and opportunity to share her treats with our friends and family!“
“Tried the breakfast sandwich. It was really just ok. The cinnamon rolls, however, ... that is all the reason you need to stop in there. I love cinnamon rolls and these really hit the spot. They're not too sense and the frosting is amazing. I got the 6 pack for $6 and will absolutely be back. My only complaint is we only bought 1 pack. They did not last long at all. Go get some cinnamon rolls. You'll be glad you did.“
“Stopped here on a whim today after a visit to the Donut Squad! This is the best ham and rolls I have had in a very long time! Highly recommend this hidden gem for hot ham and rolls on a Sunday morning! Friendly staff and great ham! I will be back on a different day to check out the other offerings!“
“We used Periwinkle's Bakery for the dessert bar at our wedding on 9.9.2023 and I can say their desserts are a crowd pleaser!! Everyone loved the desserts and I loved how they cut them into half pieces rather than the whole piece. We had roughly 150 guests and we ordered 5 large platters and ended up with one extra platter by the end of the night so it worked out perfectly!“
“Another fabulous fish fry from Rochester Deli! Great service and the food was all fresh and delicious. This time I got take out and brought it to a close friend (who had never had their fish fry). We also got a quart of the chicken dumpling soup. My friend was BLOWN AWAY! So much so that she texted me last night (the Friday after) and told me she's going to get it again this week! Always so happy to make another Rochester Deli fan out of a friend :)“
“We lucked out when our local 'favorite' coffee shop wasn't able to serve food this morning. We now have another favorite to add to our list! We didn't ask from where their coffee was sourced, but it was some of the best we've ever had. I've always preferred plenty of cream in mine, but it smelled so good I drank it all without much cream at all!! What a great 'find!' The people, coffee, food, atmosphere all made this place a must go-to in the future. All this & yet they top it off with kind, fully capable staff that includes people with all abilities.
