“The welcoming atmosphere draws you in upon the turn of the door knob. The aroma of coffee mixed with fresh baked bakery items was a perfect way to start my adventures for the day. Oh my gosh, the Peppermint Latte and Bavarian Creme filled pastry topped with Chocolate frosting was to "die for". The combo provided enough fuel for me to get to my destination in Chippewa. Can't forget to mention the lady behind all of this. Her smile and enthusiasm topped it all. ☺️”

“This is no ordinary village restaurant and punches well above its weight with its fine dining experience. Modestly perched on top of a hill in Holcombe, its backdrop is the stuff of Hardy's landscapes.. a magnificent church, gardens beautifully restored and even a small wooden playground for those willing to share this experience with their kids (kids' menu in the week). We have been several times now and each time, they squeeze us in- even accommodating our little pup (in the pub section not restaurant). A husband and wife team with an extraordinary barman who recreates nostalgic cocktails from (among others), his homemade gins.. The food is exceptional... simple ingredients, magically transformed into perfection from their extensive gardens to your plate - imagination and flair must surely be the chef's mantra. This place easily beats any competitor in Bath on food and/ or service alone. I thought long and hard about whether to review for fear of not finding a table next time, but I cannot deny that it deserves its success and worth the 20 minute cab from Bath every time!”

“Well done, East Bay! Thanksgiving buffet was great. Staff was on point, kind and friendly. Food was good. Plenty of turkey and ham. Stuffing was a Stove Top version Scalloped potatoes or mashed (too much garlic), gravy, corn, beans, lettuce salad, 2 cold salads and breads. Environment is beautiful! Desserts galore. Grateful for a nice venue to dine today at an affordable price! We will dine again another time for sure!”

“Went in on a Saturday morning for breakfast and had to get behind the bar and help the cook / bartender. Only one person was working and the bar was full. Weekends are the busiest for breakfast at most bar and grills that serve breakfast. It would be best to have two people on for the breakfast crowd.”
