“This place is awesome. The food is best BBQ and sides, I think in the area hands down. The service is outstanding, and the decoration on the wall that honors all military and public service workers is touching. I had the 3 meat combo moist brisket cooked to perfection, jalapeño sausage with cheese OMG, and seasonal huge grilled shrimp to die for. You get 2 sides, which I had Maggie's Mac and cheese and baked beans with brisket and cornbread. The sides are made from scratch, and you can tell there's nothing but love put into the overall menu. I'll be going back regularly. There are, I think, 9 different sauces to choose from, and if you're not sure what you like, they give you a couple of each with your order. My favorite was the smoky mountain and Memphis belle.“

“5 stars! Somers is easily my favorite bar in town. The drinks are cheap, the music is always good, and the vibe is perfect. Whether you’re out with friends or just stopping by for a quick drink, it never disappoints. The bartenders are fast and friendly, and the crowd is always a good time. “We came in at 10 am for brunch with a party of 8. We tried so many dishes and everything was delicious. Portions were large and we all had leftovers to take home. The owner and staff were great! There is a vey nice beer list. Would like to come back and try some cocktails another time. The vegan jollof rice , lemon dita fries, and collard greens were amazing. Prices were very reasonable able as well.“

“Mother's Day brunch at the new location of Blue Bear Que. Blue Bear has always offered great smoked BBQ and farm-to-table entrees, sides and desserts, and there is no letdown in food quality with their move to The Nash building in downtown Racine, WI. The restaurant is in the atrium of the Indian motorcycle dealer, with great views of classic bikes while you eat. Sunday brunch was fantastic, from the drinks to the entrees. The smoked pork hash was particularly good! Looking forward to my next visit!“
