“so it was our first visit to the island and the best and only place to go to is the beach club. we got stranded out here as the last ferry left everyone at the club were over the top helpful and so very kind. A fantastic group of people. we got stuck at a great helpful friendly concerened place. we will be back for sure!!! Thanks so much to everyone here.“

“The owners have done a great job updating this local restaurant/bar. Whenever I’m in the area this is a must stop by place. If you have never tried their fish fry on Friday..you really need to try it. You get a great big piece of white fish that has a light batter on it, fries and coleslaw. They also have great burgers there. The employees are super friendly. Stop by and check them out the next time you are in Washburn.“

“A very small local pub. Extreme 'up North' pub. When in town we always stop here in hope of running into old friends and neighbors. They make good drinks at easy prices. They make limited food, but last time I had a burger it was great! Strike up a conversation with owner/bartenders.“

“I had a Apple fritter sandwich with pulled pork and jam, that was huge and great tasting. The bread was slightly burnt looking, but it didn’t affect the taste. Fries were excellent. My wife had the cranberry bread with Turkey and was very satisfied it came with sweet potatoes “
