“Stopped by with a larger group. Brisket, beans, and fries were fantastic. Pulled chicken was very dry and kids chicken bites were still cold (not just not warm, but actually cold) when served. Lots of sauces to choose from.Nice open space made for plenty of room. Though also made it very loud.Took a bit for food to come out, but that's expected with a larger group.Overall very glad we stopped. If it were close, we'd go again.“

If I haven’t sold you yet, the owners are two of the most selfless people and are always looking to support community needs. From backyard grill to brick and mortar their drive and taste haven’t changed. They also have a great assistant who shares the same mindset and love that is in every takeout box. “I was trying to think of a reason to give this place less than 5 stars on anything and I couldn't think of a single one. Food was absolutely amazing, every part of the meal including the fries. Service was great, everyone was working hard back in the open kitchen. Amosphere was awesome, I'm Canadian but I really enjoyed the national anthem at mid-day I think it's very true to the roots of what I believe this place wants to represent. Hard to believe it was a chain when they told me, I'll definitely be looking to hit another one next time I'm state side.“

“OH MY GOODNESS! I've been meaning to try Wilma's forever, but their truck isn't always nearby. Finally tried them last week when they were parked at Hoyt Park. What a freaking pleasant surprise! We tried the pulled jerk chicken, the brisket and rib tips. The tips were huge and meaty, the brisket lean and tender and the chicken was a revelation! Chicken can tend to become dry, but not at Wilma's! All the meats were smokey, in a perfect way. The greens they serve as a side are fantastic too. I believe the other fabulous BBQ truck, POP'S, has some competition now. Never thought it possible. What a shame that both have such short seasons. I will find that Wilma's BBQ truck real soon, before they take their cold weather break! PLEASE, find a way to check them out!“

“Best Mexican food in the area hands down. Nothing this good in at least 15 miles around. The margaritas are great and not wimpy at all. The street tacos are as good as the street tacos in LA where I lived for over a decade! The staff is great and attentive. Love coming here.“

“Always a place I go for margaritas, and what else can I say about the brisket, the ribs, etc. etc. Tonight I tried the Monterey chicken sandwich, and I have to say I was blown away with how much I enjoyed it.
