“Easily my favorite bakery in Manitowoc from their beautiful custom-homemade cookies to their selection of dog treats! Today, I stopped in and Sara was so friendly! She recommended the ‘Pizza Sourdough bread’ to go with the tomato soup I was making, it was delicious!”

“I had lunch there on Tues with 2 friends. Food was wonderful. Huge serving of cheese curds! Wonderful service. One of us was having a birthday. We didn't request it, but the brought out a piece of torte with a candle when they overheard us mention the birthday. What a treasure you have in Manitowoc!!!”

“As someone who lived in S. Korea for a year and did short trips to Japan and Guam I can attest to the food being delicious and authentic! My husband & I do Thursday date nights, to avoid the crowds and found Izumi to over half full and saw at least 6-8 to go orders served while we ate. I had the steak & shrimp hibachi while my husband had the chicken tempera, both were delicious and we both had to have to-go boxes.”

I had them do two small cakes for our wedding, one was a chocolate cake with salted Carmel and the other was a vanilla with strawberry filling. Both were very moist and a hit with the guests! Highly recommend and I will go back.”

The food was so good it took a few bites to realize the discrepancy (and yes, I know the difference visually I was just so excited to eat it that it took a moment). I called in and without hesitation, they offered to make it right. I luckily live only a few minutes away so it wasn't a big deal to go back but my replacement was ready right away and they threw in an order of almond cookies (delicious). It's the best takeout place in town. You can't go wrong with any of the meals.”

I thank them for the products they provided for the many years. They paved the way for the others who make healthy bread.”

When we returned for dinner on Wednesday, I noticed she was there but she informed me she wasn't our server, so since we requested her to be. She took good care of my colleagues and I again. Met all our needs and even got me a brownie bite for my birthday. When I return, I hope Brooke M is working so we can have A1 service yet again.”
