I manage some properties in the area, and stopped in to introduce myself to Jenica, the new owner. She is absolutely delightful, the most positive person and manager I've known at Portofino Bay in a long time. Let's match her positivity and energy and support her and the restaurant for a turnaround and comeback. We all sense the potential of Portofino.. Good food, great atmosphere, great place to hear a band but do NOT expect good service. The service is absolutely horrible. Inexperienced bartenders and virtually no servers. Could be the best spot on the lake if they staffed it with quality bartenders/servers or at the very least train the ones you have.
