“They are so yummy! You have to get there early to get one as they will sell out. Kind of shocked to see the 1 star review over them! The new people in our neighborhood must not know that bakeries are businesses with limited stock :) they can’t just pull more goods out of thin air. To write a review over not getting the item you want isn’t a review it’s whining. There are dozens of other yummy options they have amazing danishes. And the cake is UNREAL. My son and I will have out and play board games located under the tv.“

“Wonderful time at Dorsey’s in the historic downtown of Cedarburg, WI. I was searching for a lunch spot with not just the same old burger and fries. This spot checks all the boxes and has an area dedicated to pre-made take home meals and a front counter full of desserts.

The cafe has a nice selection of cold sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads etc along with a full line of coffee, lattes, mochas and more. Dorsey’s serves alcoholic beverages too. The vintage looking bar in the center of the room is a great touch.

We ordered the chicken salad sandwich and tuna salad sandwich and asked for both of them to be on wraps. We chose pasta salad and Korean BBQ beef soup as our sides. It was tough to pass up the homemade potato chips though.

Then, of course we had to take home some desserts: triple chocolate brownie, lemon tort, a fancy sounding bread pudding, and this amazing looking peanut butter and chocolate item. Lastly we grabbed an oven-ready tray of BBQ meatballs. It was a tough call between that and the vegetable lasagna.

“The great thing about this location is the dedication the staff have to their delicious products. And the variety is endless, which makes the choices hard, but never wrong. I was able to meet the owners and enjoy their treats over the holidays, and both were wonderful! Why make visiting hard when you can always grab a full cake or individual-sized treats ready-made for you?“

She does a masterful job of developing and balancing flavors without her desserts being overly sweet. The texture of her caramel is silky and the flavor was decadent. The cake was the perfect balance of the appropriate moisture and density, especially for caramel cake. I had no issue with my customer service. “Very disappointed in Coffeeville bakery lately. My husband had a cinnamon roll and I had a peanut butter muffin. This was on Sunday. Both bakery pieces were extremely dry and obviously not fresh. Bakery prices are very high these days, that being said, I expect fresh bakery at a coffee shop. The coffee was very good.“
