“My husband is a huge soccer fan so we decided to do the rehearsal dinner for our wedding this summer at the Red Lion out on the back patio. It was the most perfect venue and meal! Our friends and family raved about the food and planning everything (including drink tickets, menu, and dealing with a year long postponement during a pandemic) was easy with their event coordinator. We were able to play games on the deck and mingle and had plenty of room when a few extra unexpected guests arrived. Would recommend for any event!“
“For being in a Catholic school cafeteria and all the tropes that come with this, I honestly have never had a better fish fry in my life. The fries leave a lot to be desired but this is hands down the best fried cod I've ever had in my life.“

“Best JJ from the Midwest to the PNW. That old man knows what he is doing. Straight fire and consistent. Food has been ready when he says it will be.Visted here dozens of times. I get the catfish dinner, fried hard with lemon pepper. Large portions of good-looking catfish filets. Light and crispy on the outside. Soft, flaky, and moist on the inside. Perfect every time. Never burnt, never hard.It is hot and steamy. If food is kept in the container too long, the batter may get more soft than desired. Needs to be eaten soon as it is ready.Had a small issue one time. He fixed it quickly. It's not even worth mentioning.Highly recommend.“
“These folks regularly appear at the South Shore Farmer's Market. And I have never tried their normal barbecue items. But whenever I am there, I try their vegan specials and every one I've had has been delicious. A few weeks ago, it was a jack fruit stew. (While I was waiting for my order, another vendor from the farmers market came by and told the operators that the stew was the best thing he had every eaten at the farmer's market.) Today, I had a squash curry. It was rich, bright yellow, and smelled and tasted delicious.Some restaurants' "vegan" food is bland and plain. Not this place. Highly recommend for people looking for vegetarian or vegan options.“
“I had a pleasant experience here. Every time I eat here, the food NEVER disappoints. Very good quality food, it's worth every dollar. Not only do they have a great selection on their menu, but they also add very tasty dishes. I tried the Hawaiian French toast, a new item on their menu. Highly recommend it! Love the art, there's a comforting feeling as soon as you walk in. Our waiter was hospitable and accommodating.Kid-friendliness: Very nice, clean highchairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Didn't see a ramp, there are stairs. I would confirm with the restaurant about this accommodation. I didn't see a ramp in the back of the restaurant.“
“It was a after normal dinner time near 8pm on a Friday night and was looking for fish fry. There were many choices in the neighborhood and decided on JJ Fish. Had the 6 wings 6 fish. Was able to get 3 catfish steaks and 3 ocean perch with fries. The place was busy with lots of carry out order, but they had two people in the kitchen cooking and one up front packing and taking orders. Fish was tasty, fresh tasting and hot. Lots of fries if you like fries and only complaint would be wish it came with even a small side of slaw. I think you could purchase it, but it would have made the meal even more with it. Next time. Will be back even though.“
