Very, very busy we waited approximately 25-30 minutes to get waitress to our table. We decided to leave when we discovered the would be possibly another 20-30 minutes. No food no drinks. I have been several times on less busy nights and service as well as food was very tasty.
Nice food. Their house salad was great with the cherries (didn't need the huge croutons). The starter was very nice, goat cheese in a tomato-jam sauce. The bass though was not worth the price. It was okay but not exceptional (and should be at that price) and the pasta was very hard. The wait staff, one woman in particular was attentive but my original waiter never came back to check on my meal. I don't think I will recommend it. The cocktails NEVER disappoint when visiting the Saint Kate. The menu always has a variety of not only drink styles but also the alcohols used to make them (i.e. vodka, gin, whiskey, etc). Dropping in for a well-balanced & delicious drink before going to the Markus Center is always a highlight when heading to downtown Milwaukee.
