We just love stopping here each time we visit Wisconsin Summerfest!
The beer is amazing and the food is very good as well.
There is enough space that it felt less than half full on a sunny summer afternoon. The food is always good and the beer is great.

The War Memorial Beer Garden is a popular spot located on the Milwaukee lakefront, offering a lively atmosphere with a live band, fair-priced food, and a good selection of beer. The massive pretzels and sausages with various toppings are highlights, while the proximity to the museum and the Oak Leaf Trail makes it a convenient stop for visitors. The beer garden is serviced by Kegels German Restaurant and sits behind the War Memorial Center, right on the lake. It is an incredible place for a variety of beers and sausages and a can't miss stop on a walk or bike ride. The awesome view of the lake and great area for relaxing and people watching create a perfect space to chill. The food by Kegel Inn was perfect with the many options of drinks. Visitors can enjoy the shaded seating with the lake view. Parking was easy and affordable. The scenic lakeside location and ample seating make it an ideal place for people watching and soaking in the views, whether for the food, drinks, or just to enjoy the lively environment.
