The fondant and butter cream were really good. The cake was really moist, but, unfortunately my family wasn’t a fan of the vanilla cake flavor. I wouldn’t recommend that flavor. I also appreciated that she squeezed my cake in!“

The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. The lady that answered was so nice and so helpful. I got the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever had. Really made my birthday special. National Bakery is my go-to bakery from now on. “Melt in our mouths lemon blueberry was my first bundt cake yesterday to bring along to a dinner party...was excellent! “We used Periwinkle's Bakery for the dessert bar at our wedding on 9.9.2023 and I can say their desserts are a crowd pleaser!! Everyone loved the desserts and I loved how they cut them into half pieces rather than the whole piece. We had roughly 150 guests and we ordered 5 large platters and ended up with one extra platter by the end of the night so it worked out perfectly!“

Greenfield) with tens of thousands of products in stock, including pans, candy molds, jimmies/quins, food colors, edible images, cake toppers, chocolate/confectioners coatings (love the Key Lime Pie flavor!), packaging and presentation products, candles, wedding toppers, and every tool you could ever want. Special order available if they don't stock it. Knowledgeable staff is very helpful when you aren't a professional baker, but are working on making 200 cupcakes look fun for a church dinner! I've been a customer since 1980's; looking forward to see what they'll add this year.“

Parking: Limited amount of spots in the parking lot that wraps around the building to the north and east off of Watertown Plank. The lot is also shared with the other businesses in this building so parking can fill up quickly.“

“My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“My daughter and I found The Naked Baker cookies at Outpost, so we thought we'd given them a try. We purchased two flavors.I think they are a little pricey so I don't know how often I'd buy them.We like the Gluten-free Sea Salt Chocolate Chip cookies. They are soft and flavorful. Just enough of everything.“

“Had a fantastic lunch here. Simply good food and very friendly staff! We got the meatloaf sandwich (with horseradish and provolone) and grilled reuben. Both were so so yummy- perfectly grilled and fillings were generous. They had a big spread of desserts, too. Got their bread pudding to go and was pleasantly surprised to find coconut! Can’t wait to come back to try other things, but DEFINITELY coming back for the reuben.“
