The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. “We tried Mochiring recently and although there was a wait for drinks and hot dogs, I expected it with all of the buzz about this place. The drinks were amazing, the hotdogs are a MUST, especially the number 10. The doughnuts were super fresh and flavorful, I wish they had more flavors to try but I’m sure that will come with time. it’s still very early in their opening process so I understand them working things out. I’m more than happy to wait for food there, it is absolutely worth it. We have been craving it since our first visit!“

The kind of bread that that doesn’t have an infinite shelf life because it’s filled with nutrients and lacks harmful preservatives. This is my go-to shop for my bread of choice!“

“Been to Rochester Deli many times over the years, mostly for their fish fries. This visit was specifically for bakery items, and that is when I learned that I have apparently been enjoying Periwinkle desserts all along. Their production facility is next door, but the baked goods are sold through Rochester Deli. I also learned that the deli owner’s daughter runs the bakery.

I came in hoping to pick up a few cupcakes and possibly a small round cake. There was only one cupcake option available, a Boston Cream, which did look good. Unfortunately, there were no cakes available, so I struck out there. I did grab a couple of the peanut butter cookies half dipped in chocolate, which are always a hit at my house.

The staff member who helped me apologized for the limited selection, but there was not much they could do.

Overall, I really enjoy their cookies, bars, and cake slices, and I will definitely be back for some of their regular items.“

Special order available if they don't stock it. Knowledgeable staff is very helpful when you aren't a professional baker, but are working on making 200 cupcakes look fun for a church dinner! I've been a customer since 1980's; looking forward to see what they'll add this year.“

“I was incredibly impressed with a caramel cake I purchased. It was truly wa sone of, if not the best, caramel cakes I’ve ever had. I am very critical of baked good because I am a baker myself. She does a masterful job of developing and balancing flavors without her desserts being overly sweet. The texture of her caramel is silky and the flavor was decadent. The cake was the perfect balance of the appropriate moisture and density, especially for caramel cake. I had no issue with my customer service. The prices were more than I was expecting but when I tasted her cake I understood how they are justified. I am eager to try more of her treats. Kudos!“

We purchased two flavors.I think they are a little pricey so I don't know how often I'd buy them.We like the Gluten-free Sea Salt Chocolate Chip cookies. They are soft and flavorful.
