“The food is delicious! I’ve struggled to find good authentic Mexican in the area, but have craved it since living in L.A. 20 years ago. Taqueria Monarca has filled that craving. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully designed. Service is quick and friendly. We will certainly continue going back.”

“My wife and I stopped by last Friday (9/12/2025). Our first choice (suggested by our host) was the Red Pines Bar and Grill, but after being notified that it would be a 45-minute wait, we decided to go to Angelinis. We are so glad we did! Our first time in a real Italian restaurant. The waiter, after giving me a quick lesson in the correct pronunciation of "bruschetta," was very amiable and professional. A wonderful young man! The food was fantastic. The service was excellent, but the lighting was a little lacking. Some people were using their phone's flashlight to read the menu. Added Angelinis to our "Must Return If In The Area" list! Well done!”

“Would absolutely recommend Mary and her tea for any catering needs that you have! My husband and I used Mary Cody’s for our wedding and everyone absolutely loved the food that was prepared. Mary was easy to communicate with and her team the day of was professional. 10/10 would use their catering services again!”

“Moved to LAX 2 years ago when I retired. Found DR’s and since gone in 4-5 times a week for lunch or dinner. Spent on the average of $800.00/month since. Forgot to pay my $15.47 bill the other night and walked out. Came in the next day and was told of my mistake by their manager Kevin and told I was kicked out for life. I didn’t get into a fight, get into an argument, I forgot to pay my bill. That being said everyone there knows I will come in the next day or tomorrow and would make good of it. Please stay away from this place. Cannot believe a fine man Dave Skogen(Festival Foods) is associated with this place?”

“Today my son was at the Culver’s in Onalaska, WI by the high school for lunch. He had no money and had called to try to get money sent to his phone so he could eat with his friends. I called the store to see if I could pay for his food over the phone. The lady who answered explained that she couldn’t take payment over the phone but she would pay for his meal. I said I would pay her back and she said don’t worry about it. She met him by the ice cream cooler and paid for his meal. She was so kind and didn’t even think twice. For someone who probably had a lot more to worry about - like the 60+ kids in her lobby waiting for food, she stopped and used her own money to help my son out. Incredible! I didn’t quite catch her name so will be going in on Friday to see if I can find her to thank her! Incredible person!”

“The food and staff are amazing. Well worth the wait and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The location is clean but it still looks like the Italian restaurant that was here before… but honestly I don’t care, the food was amazing.”

“We stopped at six breweries in the La Crosse area over the course of three days and this was the best beers by a landslide. We did a flight and all were solid. The porter was especially amazing, even on a hot day. We met the owners (Todd and Jennifer) and they were great to talk to as well.

They only have snack type food and allow outside carey-in for food, but are working on their kitchen setup so expect that to change in the near future.

Our only regret with Skeleton Crew was stopping on the last day of our visit, as it meant we could not stay as long as we wanted to. We will definitely be back.”

“I love Caribou. My favorite drink is the malted mocha cooler. I've had many. Recently I had one from this lacrosse location, and it had what I'm hoping was coffee grounds. I've never had this happen before, it's this normal?”

“Geno's has the best Italian beefs I've ever had. I have had them half the states in the US and this is my favorite place. Every bite is a flavor explosion, price is right, service is on point, and the fries are banging too. You can order anything of the menu and be satisfied completely. Whenever I'm in the LAX area I always stop in!”

“We have had great customer service at Crooked Pint! Tonight there was difficulties in the kitchen which led to an unexpected long wait- our waitress & the manager handled the situation so gracefully. They acknowledged the mishap and comped us without our party even speaking up. This was our 3rd time eating at Crooked Pint as a family & it has been a great experience each time. Our kids look forward to dining here and so do we. The food is great and the service is too!”

“Very clean, nice staff, good food, and when they make your food wrong even when you are very specific about what you want on it because you have allergies and will get violently sick if you have it. They were apologetic and got me the right food very quickly. It was also then 1 of our best experiences with the food after that.”

“My girlfriend and I went there yesterday. It's one of those places when you walk in and you feel at home. All the people were friendly.Then there was the food. Amazing!!! I just had cheeseburger and fries. All the burgers are a half pound. My girlfriend had the ultimate BLT. 12 strips of bacon on that thing. Wow We highly recommend going to Angry's.”

“I have been an Olive Garden customer for over 20 years. Today I was quite disappointed with the kitchen filling my order accurately. The order was Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo & salad with NO onions. Apparently the kitchen staff saw the order and mistook NO Onions for Extra Onions. My wife CANNOT handle onions. Please find attached image of the order and the results. “Coworker and I were heading to a nearby city for work from another state, and knowing fast food costs are wild now, would rather find a good burger from a local place…was literally just a “nearby restaurant”…I had the huge BBQ bacon burger, buddy had the wings special. Lots of locals, and it was sand VB folks coming in from their courts in the evenings to eat. If you are local or traveling through, worth a try.”
