“Was just passing through on our way to our cabin we've been skeptical about going there because every time we do the order is wrong and the staff are rude. Not yesterday! The staff were pleasant and smiling, the service was fast and efficient despite waiting for fresh strips. The gal who was assisting us was the new store manager. She apologized for the slight wait for fresh food even brought us our tray, and even came back a second time to make sure things tasted okay and to see if we needed anything. The restaurant itself looked cleaner and had a more positive atmosphere. We will definitely be back Sunday when we head home! Thank you for the awesome service! The owner Or whomever who brought new Management made a great choice!“

“We were just driving by finding somewhere to eat quick and wow we don’t live close and we will be back! The food was so good! Even my boyfriend was impressed and he hates going out! The server was nice and attentive and seemed like a cute family vibe! Like I said we live in the twin cities so not close but we will definitely making our way back to try more stuff the menu is huge! 10 out 10 in our book!“

“Headed to the Brookside bar and Grill with my sister and my brother-in-law. It is warm and cozy inside this pub. Beer was delicious with many choices, the food was also very good, and our server was Rosie, who was one of the owners. The atmosphere was very warm with two TVs above the bar, and a very large outdoor area that is open during the summer with live music. It was great conversation between the three of us as we ate our early dinner and enjoyed our beers. There is definitely a plan to come back during the summer months and enjoy the outdoor music and the large patio and back. If you're ever visiting along the St. Croix river between Minnesota and Wisconsin, I suggested you visit this beautiful bar and grill and enjoy a good meal. Say 'Hi' to Rosie for me!“

“I've been to the Grillium now a few times since my last review and each time the food was consistently good, hot, and flavorful. My favorites was the beef gyro. It's something I can't make at home, so it was a real treat. The BLAT - with the addition of an avocado - was amazing! The sandwich was a generous portion - enough for dinner and lunch the next day.“

“At 1030a and there was no one here... the fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee from local Northwood Roasterie was just the tip of the iceberg.The food was surprisingly fresh hot and delicious. We shared the French Toast, which has a cinnamon butter to with, that just made it extra delicious.I had the breakfast taco with chorizo and American potatoes...the potatoes were so fresh hot, I had to wait to eat it. You could taste the freshness in the pico de gallo.Pork ends hash, had pork belly, cooked to perfect softness and texture, not chewy or hard.10 out of 10, would definitely come back for breakfast. “Had breakfast on Saturday. They open at 9am, and when we got there at 9:20 the place was packed. Friendly folks. The cook looked all of 18 we braced ourselves for ‘just ok’ food. We could not have been more wrong.His hash browns were crispier and more delicious than most twenty year cooks. The skillet breakfast was ample and amazing. Ate til full and still leftovers for the next day.Just one of those incredible hole-in-the-wall places. Totally worth the drive.“
