“5 stars. Joe is one of a kind. We enjoy the Chalice any day of the week and today we had the chance to host a baby shower there (believe this is a Sunday only thing? FYI). He and his daughter took great care of us, they helped with everything from the minute we walked in. We knew this place was special and today just took it to another level. Thanks for the great food, company, hospitality, and everything you did you make the day special. Know the food is just as special and unique as the people who will serve you when you visit. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again!“

“Food was good, we had service for 7 and had great service! Lots of different food options. Place is loud which was surprising since we thought a place with a reservation would be quieter. Cheese curds were hands down some of the best (photo attached). Ribeye special was amazing (sister had that dish). Side salads are a hefty portion (Attached photo). Daughter had chicken curry soup and said it was delicious. I had the sirloin with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes and string beans (photo attached) it was delicious and a large portion. Cocktails were not our favorite, they didn't taste that good.“

“Four of us had drinks and dinner on Tuesday. The staff are all top notch! Friendly and professional bartender, waitress and chef. Our steaks and seafood were all cooked perfectly. The chef paid a visit to every table to get direct feedback. Nice neighborhood supper club experience!“

“We had a really large group of family members (about 20 people total including adults & kids) to celebrate my dad's 89th Birthday on Wed Nov 20th, 2024. We had a reservation for 5pm & when we arrived, they had our table all setup & ready for us. Our Waitress (Amelia) was at our table immediately with a big smile & a very warm & friendly welcome. Our Waitress (Amelia) was an absolutely FANTASTIC Waitress, one of the best that we've dealt with in many years! As we were all getting settled in, we had a few surprise visitors that joined my dad's birthday celebration. Our waitress (Amelia) was right on top of everything & she immediately added another table to make sure that everyone was comfortable while eating their meal & didn't feel like you were being crammed in like sardines while eating. In addition to that, Amelia went out of her way to accommodate my dad by making sure that he felt extra "special" while celebrating this 89th Birthday of his. She got him a "special" cocktail (yes, a bit of a boozy one, which he really liked) in addition to a Root Beer Float to enjoy after he had enjoyed his Birthday meal. I was watching my dad with that Root Beer Float & he was thoroughly enjoying that! All the adults in our group ended up getting the All You Can Eat Fish Fry for $9.99 per person (or maybe it was even less than that, I'm not sure, because someone in our group paid for everyone's meal!). OMG it was absolutely amazing ~ everything was very FRESH & HOT. The Seasoned French Fries were delicious, and the Tatter Tots were the bomb! We had the BEST TIME EVER thanks to our amazing Waitress (Amelia) who went out of her way to make sure that EVERYONE in our group was taken care of. She was so much fun; she has a great sense of humor, and she fit right in with our "wild n crazy" family! By the time we left that evening we were saying that our Waitress (Amelia) was "Our Sister from another Mister" & we asked her if she was going to join all of us for Thanksgiving!! Thanks again for making my dad's 89th Birthday so "special" for him. I think he felt like a BIRTHDAY KING for the night!!“

“It is great to be back in Wisconsin. The staff is extremely Midwest nice, the meals were fast, hot and fresh. The store being #140 was clean and well maintained.“

“We stayed at this hotel after a Packers game. The location is convenient and hotel was very nice. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurant and bar were closed that evening, but she helped us to be comfortable at a table in the lobby/cafe area, where we ate our take-out pizza (West End Pizza across the street is a great place to get pizza!). The room was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of storage space and drawers for clothes if you’re staying for more than a night. The mini fridge and microwave were convenient. I would recommend staying here.“

“Oh my gosh! What's not to love? Seriously.. our tab came to just $37! We had 3 spark plugs (heaping proportions of delicious cheese curds, fries and chicken tenders), a 1/3lb cheese burger (they say they have the best burgers in Oshkosh. I agree. I don't really care for hamburgers. I've only had 1 hamburger in the past 9 months - at Mihms yum. But I had a few bites of their burger. NGL I might order my own burger next time), and 4 mixed drinks. C'mon now! That's a great deal! The atmosphere is great! Their down home sarcasm attracts literally an equal amount of young and old. No matter where you sit there is a TV to watch. The staff behind the bar work their arses off! You do have to order, pick up, and clear your table at the middle of the bar. But I see nothing wrong with that at all. I will definitely be back!“

“The service and food were fairly good The atmosphere was nice and casual. The servers were tentative. The place was clean and I definitely would consider it in the future. It’s not a chain and it looks like they take a little bit of pride in the food that they put out and how it’s presented and most of all how it taste.“

“I NEED to shout out this restaurant and I WISH I caught the servers name but she wasn’t our server. I came in to eat with my boyfriend and my toddler daughter about a month ago, two weeks after I had a hysterectomy. My daughter needed her diaper changed, I took her to the bathroom then immediately realized I forgot I’m unable to carry or lift her yet. I ran out to ask my boyfriend if we could ask if he could come in just to lift her onto the changing table for me, though he told me to try to ask someone for assistance bc there was also people in the restroom as well. As absolutely EMBARRASSING as that was I kindly asked the man at the front if there was a female available at that moment and I explained the situation for her. She didn’t even hesitate and helped me lift her up onto the changing table. I was so embarrassed but I had literally gotten sepsis already from the surgery and had to also have an extra procedure due to the infection and I couldn’t risk any further near-death experiences from this surgery. She was so sweet and I was so happy with not feeling absolutely judged or looking incapable outside of the circumstances. Thank you!“

“I love this place! We had a group of 10. They were quite busy (as usual) For a Monday Night. Menu has actually Dinners. Not just Bar and Grill food like most places in town these days. “Partial to Patty melts and theirs did not disappoint. Good bread, grilled in butter, not some nasty oil. Plenty of cheese and a good beef patty. Service was timely and friendly. Had cottage cheese as my side and only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is it was not cold, not warm but cold. I also liked the atmosphere with lots of sports on the many tv’s.“

“Came to this place in 1993, had the best time on my trip of the USA from Australia, took me ages to find my hotel the Pioneer inn, got stuck at the rail crossing with some long train a thought I was never gonna get back to the hotel until the sun came up. Good memories.“

“I’ve been to Winners Sports Bar & Grill a few times now, and it’s always a solid spot. The vibe is fun and laid-back, perfect for catching a game or grabbing a casual meal. I had their Angus burger on a pretzel bun—juicy, tasty, and cooked just right. The fries hit the spot too. My wife got the BLT, and she loved it.

The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome every time. Whether you’re stopping in after the Farmer’s Market or just want a good burger and some drinks, this place is worth it. Definitely one of my go-to spots in Oshkosh.“
