“I've been coming here since I was a kid. My dad was stationed an hour north and we lived in Minnesota, so we'd stop here for a bathroom break and ice cream on the way to visit him. Fast forward to adulthood and I kept the tradition alive by stopping here any time I was in the area or driving through. It hasn't changed much which I like for the nostalgia, and it's been kept clean.Staff was friendly and polite, as usual, but might need some practice making cones... Instead of the nice DQ cone I've become accustomed to, with the swirl at the top, I got one best described as, "there was an attempt..." Staff are teenagers, so there is some forgiveness, but definitely need to have instilled in them a pride in their work regardless of the task. This was instilled in me with my fast food jobs when I was a teen, and it carried over to every job since.Overall, I will still come back here because the cone tasted just fine, despite the lackadaisical presentation. And it's DQ, I'm not expecting a 5 star experience, that's not a reasonable expectation.“
“Left my purse behind and didn't realize it for 35 miles. I made a frantic call and Jody assured me it was secure in the safe. Less than an hr later he handed it to me without fanfare. He has no idea how he saved our vacation! In these days of distracted, irritated workers, Jody displayed himself as a true gentleman!“
