“First experience at Culver’s. Food was as expected for this type of place. For Wisconsin I had hoped the cheese curds were much better but they were decent. Burger and Rueben was delicious. Cement mixers and such were delicious as well. I enjoyed the curdside pickup.“

“This Taco John's has been in Platteville for generations, surviving the K-Mart in which it's parking lot it still stands sentry, guarding the blue light special and radio grill now locked in a maximum security Uhaul storage unit. This Taco John's is so formidable, has such aura and stats that when Taco Bell finally decided to make it's move on Platteville (at the time some dialects called it P-vegas), it could not challenge Taco John alone. The encounter so wrecked Taco Bell that it is left a disfigured abomination, hybrid, sharing organs and vital grease fluids with fellow Yum Brands underling KFC between the Country Kitchen and the ruins of Ed's Cafe.

When I drive through Platteville with my brood, I always stop here for fresh delicious tacos, a taco salad and mexican tator tot disks at an affordable price, served by staff that are attentive enough to help me get extra sauce, but not enough to glare at my children when they repeat the same fart joke 3 times in outdoor voices. A+ Taco John's.“

“Great customer service!! They had an issue with the mobile ordering and had to cancel my order but when I went in to pick up they made it right away for me and completely made it right by me completely made up for the inconvenience!! The two guys and lady working were so nice and apologetic!!“

“I’ll be honest, this hasn’t always been my favorite place to eat because the experience really depends on who you get as a server. We usually end up with a very forgetful short elderly woman who can never quite remember our order from drinks to food, but she makes up for it by letting us use expired coupons, so I suppose it evens out (that’s why we do carryout far more often). This past Wednesday, I convinced my family to give it another try. On the drive there, I was fully prepared for a total mess, because weekday dining can be hit or miss. The food itself is usually fine; it’s the service that tends to be the wildcard. To my surprise, we had a young gentleman named James, and he absolutely raised the bar. When you have James, it feels like fine dining even though you’re sitting in a Pizza Hut!!! He was attentive, polite, and clearly took pride in what he does. I even told him we’d love to have him working here, and he laughed and said he’d already been offered a job before and turned it down, and would do so again. My son jokingly asked if the cook still worked there after previously trying to teach my grandchildren new swear words and questionable language. James politely declined to answer, which I took as a yes—but also as him being far too loyal to say anything negative. All in all, if you’re going to eat here, you want James. He makes all the difference.“

“Love the Platteville DQ! I order my hubby ice cream cakes a few times a year and this year's father's day cake is the reason I am leaving this 5 star review! When they asked what we would like the cake to say, I replied 'something about father's day...go ahead and be creative'...and this was what we got! “Great food, always as a brand, almost always at this site. If you know this roast beef well, you know if it's sliced too thick it tastes like dog food and if it's sliced too thin you have a pile of shavings. But just right and you have delicious perfection!
I used the drive thru on this visit so I can't comment on cleanliness or anything inside, but it's usually clean.
The only thing that had made me want to call to complain.... the employees. ☹️ Not the entire team but we've been there at times when the people working are yelling at each other, they've been on cell phones while we've waited, they've finished personal conversations with each other before coming to the counter (and I've seen it from the inside when the drive thru had been ignored a bit too long also) but nothing that would stop me from being an Arby's consumer.
It says that I had a 10-30 min wait time for a table, but I had a 13 minute wait with 2 cars in front of me.“
