How nice to be able to chill to a mellow, relaxing playlist in a public space! As a touring musician/self-proclaimed music snob, it’s so rare to not be bludgeoned by obnoxious pop everywhere I go. No one seems to give any thought to what it is they’re playing and whether it suits the environment (the Mexican restaurant I ate at last night was blasting generic EDM! At dinner time? Really?)
