“Today was an awful day. My truck decided to break down right in the middle of the driveway! I went inside to talk to someone to see if there was anyone that could help me push it into a parking spot. Melissa Gabrielson, the GM was absolutely amazing! She was kind, understanding, and just went above and beyond to make me feel more comfortable as I was panicking. She gathered up a couple of guys to helpme push it out of the way, told me it was OK to leave it there until I could get someone to pick it up, talked to me and distracted me to help calm me down. We were able to figure out how to drive it home, thankfully. Melissa, thank you so much. I will never forget your kindness. Please, thank the guys again for me. Your kindness and comfort means more to me than you'll ever know.“

“The food and service were both very good, except they forgot both of our pickles! (Oh, the humanity! Lol).

The inside is pretty plain, though they do have various items for sale such as cutting boards, t-shirts, and stuffed animals. It looked like there may have been an area for kids, but it was closed off.

In a rare move for me, I forgot to take pictures. I guess I was too hungry.

Well worth stopping at for a bite! I believe some of the money made goes to charity, so eating here is a double win. :)“

“Desperados has a great Friday night fish fry! The blue gill is amazing and the hash browns with cheese and onions are delicious. The soup and salad bar is a meal on its own. They always offer 3 soups and a salad bar that has cheese, eggs, tomatoes, olives, peas, onions (to name a few toppings) plus coleslaw, broccoli salad, potato salad, fruit and pudding. S/S bar also includes buns, crackers, cheese spread and a variety of dressings. We look forward to Friday night fish fry’s here-you are greeted with a smile and the service is fast and friendly! “We stopped in from a 700 mile motorcycle ride from sturgis back to Tennessee, the staff is amazing., the owner is equally amazing and is one heluva cook . I got the wagu steak and it was delicious! 10/10 stars and highly recommend making this place a destination.“
