“I love myself a small town bar anywhere in Wisconsin, but this place is that plus more!! Outdoor patio open all year round is really awesome, the staff and owner are some of the nicest people in Hammond, and the food is really great!! Make sure you put this place on your list of places to stop if you’re driving through.Parking: Small parking lot, but lots of street parking for free.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, easy move around in a wheelchair“

“Formerly Uncle Mike's, if you are unsure of the name change and location.My review is after eating there 3 times, once for steak night and twice for their fish.The food is the only reason I would return. The Fried fish which I chose over the broiled was done perfectly on both occasions. The sides of Coleslaw have always been warm and not flavorful, while the choice of tater tots always is done perfectly to my taste, Lightly crunchy.The seating and service are less than desirable, as on the last 2 occasions. The first one we were seated 20 minutes , while watching tables fill around us, and orders taken without anyone coming to our table. I made mentioned to a bus girl cleaning the table next to us, and she got the manager, who apologized for the over site. The restaurant was not overly busy at that time.We decided to give Friday night fish a second try, as the fish was done so well, and we always give things a second try. We didn't fair much better on the try. They were busy and a wait for tables, as the hostess told us on arrival , which we stated we were willing to wait for and would just stand there in queue for or table. No name taken from us or table pager given to us, or even mention a need for either from them . We stood there for 30 min waiting and watching tables empty, noticing staff chatting and taking turns hosting, I then mentioned as they were going to seat someone else, that we had been waiting. That prompted a ...your not on the list response from them. I explained that I was not asked for a name, and we were a mear 4ft from the hostess potum for the past 30 min. I will spare you the remaining poor service that ensued .Do I think the food is... Good...YES.and I will give it another Friday night try in the future and let you know how it goes.“

“Ordered takeout, have not experienced the environment much but it seemed nice when I was there. Food wise everything was amazing. We ordered a jalapeño popper burger and the French dip both with seasoned fries. The fries would’ve been better if homemade but the seasoning made them delicious. Both sandwiches were delicious and had lots of toppings and different flavors. Would recommend this over many of the restaurants on Main Street!“

“Perfect place to take the out of town relies for dinner & drinks. Their broasted chicken is famous for good reason & the pizza is fantastic! My friend has some diet restrictions & ordered pepperoni w/gluten-free crust. The food, drinks, service have always been consistently awesome!“

“Good place to eat, burgers, quesadillas, fries, salads, and lots of good options for food. Good for pickup as well. Good service. They have a nice event hall adjacent to the restaurant, which is a great space. The event we attended was a wedding shower, perfect spot for that. The rooftop area is very nice to enjoy in the summertime.Parking: Parking in lot behind restaurant is helpful when really busy. There is a door in the back too.“

“June 2023...a steak buffet for $16.99?!?!?! Who can complain!Service was great, salad bar was good, and the steaks were cooked perfect.It's an 8 oz sirloin. If anyone has complained about this buffet I suggest you go to the grocery store, buy it all, and cook it yourself!!! “Stopped in to eat, drink and watch the Badgers. Everyone should stop here at least once, it’s pretty good. Comfortable seating and viewing, but the screen had interference, so I took off 1/4 star. Huge impressive tap menu, see pic. They need a Czech style Pilsner though. Interesting selection of cocktails, with two mango type choices! Waitress was kind and attentive.Tasteful pictures and quotations displayed throughout the establishment. See pic. Shuggy sticks were good. See pic. You’ll be impressed at the food menu, that’s all I’ll say about that. They go off on a tangent with a whole bunch of Mac n Cheese selections! The veggies were good but you should swap the sweet potato for green beans, edamame, etc since the meal includes potato already. “This is such a fun resteraunts. The fish was very good and reasonably priced for how much you get. On a side note I was not a fan of the house tartar, mustard has no place in it IMO, which will probably exclude me from ordering the fish again, but no complaints on the fish itself:) My son also liked his wrap. Service was above reproach:)“
