“I stopped in today by chance, I was hungry and have passed this place several times over the years. This place was amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken Flatbread which was also delicious. We also had the wonton cheese sticks, they were awesome. Our waitress Makayla was great, very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu items. The bar tender Emily also greeted us and asked how the drinks were. Great place, very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.“

“I recently worked a wedding at Harbor Brewing for an outside caterer and was very impressed with the staff (great bartenders!), facilities, and ambiance. The happy couple and their guests all seemed to have had a wonderful evening and throughly enjoyed the selection of drinks offered by the venue. In talking with the attendees (and from clearing their empty glasses) it was clear they found the quality of that selection far exceeded the run of the mill menu available elsewhere. Moreover, the bartenders did an great job keeping the lines short, the beverages fresh, and although I unfortunately wasn’t able to banter with them myself every guest walked away from their interactions with a smile on their face. The area in which the event took place was both spacious and beautifully decorated/styled. The brewery’s aesthetic is tasteful and the layout allowed for plenty of room for the crowd to dance and mingle. Personally I thought the wall of whiskey barrels was a brilliant addition - wether it was simply meant as storage or a design element chosen specifically for the look it really brought the room together. This may seem like a weird feature to bring up but having worked tons of weddings at dozens of venues over the years I always take note of the restroom accommodations in an event space because as a party progresses underperforming in this arena can create a ton of problems. Here the bathrooms not only fit the theme (extra points for the keg urinals!) but were kept clean and easily accommodated the parties needs. Finally, the venue is located in Lake Villa’s downtown area somewhat near the train station with plenty of parking for guests available on site as well as near by on Cedar street. Finding the building was no trouble at all and leaving when the event was over was hassle free. Altogether Harbor Brewing is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a space to host an event; a beautiful venue with some wonderful staff pouring outstanding beer will make for a night you and your friends won’t soon forget.“

“Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“

“Boneless wings frozen and lots of the sauces are generic versus homemade. The salad was very good but lettuce could've been chopped up more. It was resembling spaghetti versus normal lettuce. Very good ingredients though. Service was a bit slow and didn't seem very busy BUT the location was great and the parking was decent.“

“They have a great outdoor patio that often has live music. They have a menu you can order from and also grilled corn and burgers that they make outside. The owner comes by to say hello and you really feel welcome. Off to the slide they have playground equipment, basketball, and volleyball.“

My husbands wrap was delicious, and the fries were very good as well. We decided to try there banana bread pudding to go and we enjoyed it very much even after warming it up later!! “This place is outstanding! The food is great and so are all the people who work there. I have been there when the service is a little slower but the atmosphere and the bartender make the difference. I have eaten there many times for lunch and dinner and it never disappoints, and they do a good takeout too. I regularly go there for lunch with my mom, she loves it! When people come to visit we always go to Oliverii for at least one meal. It is a DO NOT MISS location in this cute town.“

They were so accomodating for the kids and super patient with them (like of course when my 5 yo tried to play the slots ?).The Irish tots are fabulous, and my burger was even good later that day when I took it home!Parking is easy and convenient. Bathrooms were clean. Good music selection. Overall great place. Can't wait to try the cornhole league this summer!“
